  1. Brady vs NYJ or Cam vs ATL 1 point per 20 yards passing, 6 point TDs Who do I start? I'm leaning toward Cam at the moment, since that game should be much more competitive (and hopefully it'll turn into a shootout). Brady seems like the safer play, but with the uncertainty surrounding Lamar Miller, I may need the higher ceiling if I'm going to win my championship. Thoughts?
  2. Lamar Miller @ JAX Spencer Ware @ CAR Darren Sproles vs ATL Jonathan Stewart vs KC I have Miller and Ware starting at the moment, but I'm tempted to swap Ware for Sproles since his matchup seems much better. This is a PPR league. Thanks!
  3. The Odell owner in my league is hurting at RB & expressed interest in a potential trade. Here's the trade I'm considering: Jordy Nelson Mike Gillislee C.J. Anderson for OBJ Doug Martin This is a 10 team, PPR league. Should I make this trade?
  4. This is for a PPR league with 1pt per rec, .25pt per carry, 1pt per 10 yds rush/rec, 6pt TD, 2pt bonus for 100 yards. I have Robinson in the flex spot at the moment, but his success hinges on Bortles' health. Houston managed to keep Julio under wraps a few weeks ago and it seems like Julius Thomas may be more involved in the passing game this week so I'm a bit wary about starting Robinson. Abdullah has a great matchup but hasn't looked particularly great this season, though Riddick potentially sitting out could increase his upside. Vereen is a better pick if OBJ sits, but I won't know that until Monday night so it's a bit risky but the reward could be worth it. Woodhead seems to be the safest bet, I just think his upside may be limited. Who do I start out of these 4?
  5. I agree about the Julio/T.Y. combo; Luck has to get it going sooner or later. As for a heavier hitting RB, I'm currently attempting to snag Foster from the Luck owner.
  6. I only had 4 until yesterday when I picked up Cutler and put him in one of my IR slots. We start 2 so I drafted 4 initially with the hopes that they would pan out and I would have trade bait. At the moment, 3 of the 4 are in the top 10 and Eli is at 14 overall thanks to his week 1 stinker.
  7. I've been trying to trade for Julio since week 1 and the owner is finally willing to make a move. The trade would be: Russell Wilson, Lacy, Cobb for Julio, T.Y., Abdullah My roster with this trade would be: QB(2)-Tyrod, Eli, Mariota, Cutler RB(2)-C.J., Ivory, Powell, Karlos Williams, Abdullah WR(2)-Julio, T.Y., Amari, Landry, Wright TE(1)-Eifert, Clay, ASJ FLEX Scoring is 1 pt per rec, 1 pt per 10yd rec, 6 pt TD, 2 pt 100yd game .25 pt per carry, 1 pt per 10yd rush, 6 pt TD, 2 pt 100yd game It's a bit of a gamble with Abdullah and T.Y. hasn't been impressive yet, but they both have potentially massive upside. It doesn't hurt that Julio is putting up quarterback numbers in this league. Should I make this move?
  8. Makes sense. I'll just have to hope I can pull it off without shooting myself in the foot. There's only so much that can be given away before it starts to negate the gain from having Julio on my team. Of course, with 3 WRs being either Julio/Cobb/Cooper or Julio/Cobb/Landry, and the other QBs I would have left, I'll probably only need moderate production from my RBs to be successful. Thanks for the input, Ted, and good luck with your trade.
  9. I don't mind parting ways with any of my QBs but I don't want to give up Lacy. Perhaps he would take C.J. & Ivory with Gurley or Ellington coming back to me.
  10. The Julio owner in my league is hurting at QB, but loaded at WR so I'm thinking about offering him a trade. During Sunday of Week 1 I asked him what it would take to get Julio and was given a ludicrous trade offer in return (along the lines of Lacy, CJ, Russell, Cobb & Landry for just Julio). Most everyone in this league expects the world for nothing in a trade so it wasn't entirely surprising. Anyway, considering how his 3 QBs have played thus far, I'm beginning to think he may be more open now to a reasonable trade than he was back then. My team: QB(2)-Russell, Eli, Tyrod, Mariota RB(2)-Lacy, CJ, Ivory, D. Johnson, Powell, Starks WR(2)-Cobb, Landry, Cooper, Wright, Tate TE(1)-Eifert, ASJ FLEX His team: QB(2)-Stafford, Bradford, Kaep RB(2)-Hill, Lewis, Abdullah, Gurley, Crowell, Ellington WR(2)-Julio, Antonio Brown, J. Matthews, Bryant, T.Y. TE(1)-Cameron, Gates FLEX Since all four of my QBs are in the top 14 in points in our league, I'm thinking a trade of Russell, C.J., and Landry for Julio and Abdullah would be fair. I'd get the best WR in the league and a RB with tons of upside. He would get a top 10 QB, a PPR machine, and a RB who could end up getting his honda together and playing like the top 10 RB he was drafted to be. Would this be a fair trade? Do I need to offer more?
  11. One of the FanDuel/DraftKings commercials I've seen lately has a guy with the name "beermakersfan" talking about the money he's won in DFS. What they fail to mention is the fact that he is one of the main contributors over at Rotogrinders. Here's one of his articles for proof: https://rotogrinders.com/articles/beer-s-mlb-six-pack-tuesday-september-22nd-840838 The one that makes me laugh the most is the guy that claims to have won over $2 million dollars even though he only deposited $35. He's either ridiculously lucky, or their marketing is complete horsehonda.
  12. Think so? For where they were both drafted it would be a steal (I took Taylor as one of my final picks), but it's hard to bet on Murray with how poorly the Eagles have played thus far. Of course, his situation is still better than CJ so it may be worth it just in case. Thanks for the input.
  13. The Romo owner in my league is interested in acquiring Tyrod Taylor. With Lacy going down and CJ being inept to this point, I need some help at RB. Here's my team: QB(2)-Russell, Eli, Mariota, Taylor RB(2)-Lacy, CJ, Ivory, Spiller, D. Johnson (picking up Starks on waivers) WR(2)-Cobb, Landry, Cooper, Tate, Wright TE(1)-Eifert, ASJ FLEX His team: QB(2)-Brady, Romo RB(2)-AP, Murray, Jennings, Martin, Gordon, Sankey, Coleman WR(2)-Cooks, Marshall, Evans, VJax, Stevie Johnson TE(1)-Bennett FLEX He's willing to part ways with any RB except for AP. I don't trust Murray with the way Philly has looked. The only decent options seem to be Doug Martin and Melvin Gordon, though they're not blowing me away either. With our scoring setup, Taylor had nearly 40 points last week & RBs tend to finish between 20-25 points. Full PPR with partial points for carries and completed passes, as well as bonuses for yardage totals. I've considered offering Taylor & Tate for Martin & Marshall. Should I make that trade or stand pat?
  14. Yea, I think being able to adapt to what the draft gives you is important & I'm not against doing it. I don't like to go into a draft with a strategy set in stone, but I do like to have multiple options. Looking back at last year's stats, there's a big drop off in overall points after the top 10 with guys going from 350-400 points to barely 250 points. If that were to hold true this year, the point advantage of two elite RBs could be about 10 points a game which I should be able to make up by having a QB tandem of Tannehill and Matt Ryan. Edit-thanks for the replies, guys.
