  1. nelson is not a TE, so i'm not sure how you can start him over thomas. if you meant nelson over thomas, i would stick with decker.
  2. i sit corrected. turbin is technically 2nd in line. that said, i would still grab michael, imo.
  3. you're welcome. i'm serious about michael. . .could be a difference maker for your team.
  4. no. . .he's laughing at the fact you spelled lynch as 'lunch' in your initial post. the criticism regarding 'better PPR RB' is in regards to lynch not being utilized as a pass catcher compared to some other RBs. i would add that you should see if christine michael is out on there on waivers. he's one of the top handcuffs to own this season, ESPECIALLY for lynch owners. i drafted him in one league and i don't even own lynch. he's pretty much a mandatory add for you if he's available. (well, not mandatory, but HIGHLY recommended)
  5. depends on who gets the most goal line carries when they play. rice has pierce mixed in throughout the game, so he may steal a red zone carry here and there. foster has historically been left to stake exclusivity to that role in the past. is there any reason to think they'll limit those carries for foster this season?
  6. decent lineup. as already mentioned, i don't like your second QB. vick is also high risk/reward type. replace the 2nd QB with a viable option off the WW. given vick's penchant for getting injured, you should seek the most stable option in case he needs to fill in as your primary.
  7. i think you're giving too much personally. i think there's too much upside with cameron and thompkins. in other words, you may be selling them too low. of course, you run the risk of them under-performing, therefore making them unmovable, but wallace with tannehill (sp?) doesn't get me excited. imo, i would hold 'till at least after week one or later to ascertain the value of the players in question. . .or find another trade candidate willing to offer you a better player/deal.
  8. fwiw, i think the chances of payton leaving NO are nil. that said, it certainly is fun to speculate. . .
  9. right. and just like d-nab, others will learn things about andy that we've known for years. yet, we were too harsh or didn't know what we were talking about, vilified by the media and outsiders alike. he can be a good game-planner, but don't expect him to make adjustments when they're called for.
  10. although titus young has been the bigger 'name', i actually like broyles. he's been playing well given the new opportunity. i just picked up hilton in one league. i like his situation in a passing game that continually improves from week to week. alexander always had great potential, but he's a constant injury risk. still worth keeping an eye on given SD is desperate for a play-making WR. i was hoping that guy would be vincent brown, but he's still recovering from his own injury. he's the better play long term. wouldn't touch the others. surprised that givens isn't mentioned. i think he should be in the conversation. especially since he's the first WR to really take off for the rams outside of amendola. should be interesting to see how things shake with the latter back in the mix. may be a boon for both.
  11. even with reid gone, i'm nervous about our future. it was just revealed this week that roseman is signed on for another four years. and apparently, he's been more influential in the decision making that initially let on, specifically in regards to drafting. things won't change until they get some football acumen at a higher level within the org. the local writers are still relatively timid on calling out the higher levels. i wish they'd grow a pair.
  12. in a ppr league, i need sixty points from maclin. . .
  13. waited a bit too long and wound up with big ben in the ninth round. but the more i think about it, i think he represents great value this year. especially if he throws the ball as much as he's expected to. i think he may wind up surprising.
