  1. wow! I am pleasantly surprised I had this many hits. The issue did get resolved in the league as my buddy has just mentioned. I appreaciate all responses. The biggest problem I had with the issue is how it went down. The guys did it without telling anybody. If the guy would have went around and asked us (we all work in the same office) then it wouldn't have been a big deal, we would have said fine and then everyone could have been under the same rules. Like my title reads "Fantasy Football Etiquette", were all friends so we would have been understanding that he needed a kicker. It was just a little shady how he went about it. Anyway. The season is underway and we have resolved the issue (sort of). Thanks again for all the posts!
  2. Usually we do have veto power, but there was never anything sent out to the other players in the league. It just happened.
  3. Ok so here's the deal. We had our draft a about a week ago. One of the guys drafted a kicker that happened to be released a couple days ago. In our league there are no moves allowed before the beginning of the season. You are allowed to change your lineup with the players you drafted but, the waiver wire is off limits. This guy who drafted the kicker talked to the commisioner and ended up getting to drop the cut player and picking up another kicker for the 1st week game. Other poeple in the league had drafted players who were cut as well but did not affect their starting lineup. My question is Fair or Foul? Should this guy be allowed to drop his kicker and pick up one prior to week one. PS. He also did not lose his waiver wire position.
