  1. McCluster is the back to own, ESPECIALLY if you're in a deep ESPN league that starts 3 WR. McCluster is listed on ESPN as a RB/WR, so you have an opportunity to start a potential RB2 that will get 10-15 touches in a WR3 slot.
  2. I watched the Bills game in it's entirety, and I don't even remember seeing Jones. McCluster was in there to relieve Charles (and Haley used him more after Charles fumbled). I'm not sure if that changes if Charles gets hurt, though, because McCluster doesn't seem like the workhorse. Here is the interesting thing about McCluster, though. If you're in an ESPN league, McCluster is listed as a RB/WR. In a deeper league, it's hard to find consistent WR3s. If McCluster continues to produce, he's a really nice addition for a WR3 spot. I've already stashed him on my bench in the deeper leagues for that purpose.
  3. Drop Woodhead. Greene has the potential to be a stud if LT goes down. LT hasn't shown the ability to remain healthy through 16 games in years, so chances are he could really produce in later weeks.
  4. It shocks me that people even ask these questions. Wayne should be a starter every week for you - no questions asked.
  5. Your running back situation is terrible. You should concentrate on upgrading that. Brees (this year) isn't as much of an upgrade of Flacco as you think.
  6. I admittedly do not understand all the Favre hate around here, but it should be pointed out that Brett Favre is a GOD DAMNED MAN. He plays through injuries that other QBs would not. 20 years in the league, 70,000+ yard, 500 TDs... he'll be remembered as one of the greatest ever.
  7. Not worth taking the loss for. Start Peterson and Bradshaw. Find a replacement for Johnson this week. You should never trade away blue chip players for potential flashes in the pan. Peterson, by most accounts, is a top-2 RB in all leagues. He should continue to get a lot of touches if Favre is having elbow problems (Minnesota plans to reduce this pass attempts). Johnson is unstoppable. He puts up big numbers on a relatively poor team. Stupid trade, in my opinion. He's dangling that trade to guarantee a win this week.
  8. Bess and Alexander. Woodhead - he's a running back, not a receiver! Butler - WR2 in Seatle, will lose touches to Williams. Johnson - never trust a receiver from Buffalo in November and December. Meachem - too inconsistent in that Saints Offense.
  9. Stupid trade. Take a shot with the lineup you have. Wallace should have a nice season now that Big Ben is back. Foster, despite is top notch fantasy numbers, isn't the goal line back in Texas.
  10. Starks probably won't play until week 9 or 10. There seems to be a lot of hype over a player that was just activated. In my opinion, there are probably better options available if you need RB depth.
  11. I wouldn't trust a league in which the commissioner manually processes anything. In one of my leagues, the commissioner has veto power on all trades, but none of the other owners have input to accept/deny trades. He's also crooked. One of the owners just filed a grievance against him this morning. He had Santonio Holmes in his lineup at game time, then when Bowe went off a magical substitution occurred. He claims that he made the substitution before the game, but ESPN didn't process it immediately (like we are all idiots, right?) Bottom line, the database engine doesn't care who you are on Wednesday morning. It processes waiver requests based on your waiver order. There is no real reason I can think of to manually process those claims (unless you pay for FA).
  12. No, that's a silly trade. You already have (3) WR1 on your team. Any gains in strength at TE are overshadowed by the loss at WR.
  13. I've got Santonio Holmes and Percy Harvin on my roster. I need to start one of them. My gut says that Holmes could have a really good game, but my head says that Harvin is the safe play (I just need 7 pts out of them to win my week). I think Holmes has a higher potential since he's facing Minnesota, but he hasn't practiced in 5 weeks. Harvin, on the other hand, is coming off of his bye week, so I would expect that he and Favre may be more in sync, however, he is playing the Jets - which is the potential to be a very tough defensive matchup.
