  1. Hello, I have a trade proposal and I'd like to know what you guys think. The commish approves trades instantly so it will take effect for this weekend's games as well. I give: Tony Romo Devery Henderson Brandon Jacobs I receive: Josh Freeman Jordy Nelson Rob Gronkowski For a frame of reference my team ATM is (12 teamer, 2RB/2WR/1 flex, nonPPR) QB: Romo/Cutler RB: McCoy/Mojo/Fred Jackson/Brandon Jacobs/Deji Karim/Marshawn Lynch WR: Dez Bryant/Mario Manningham/Henderson/Nate Burleson TE: Greg Olsen Basically I'm downgrading QB from Romo to Freeman, upgrading in TE from Olsen to Gronk, and upgrading in WR from Henderson to Jordy Nelson. (And then I'm losing RB bench depth in Jacobs but whatever, I have three elite RBs so I would only have to start him like twice due to byes.) The TE upgrade is good although Olsen has been pretty good, and getting an actual start-worthy WR helps since Bryant and Manningham are injury prone and Manningham might be in the doghouse. I'm obviously pretty worried about the QB downgrade, although there are some OK QBs on the waiver wire I might be able to plug in (Bradford, McCoy, Grossman, Orton, McCoy are all available...would definitely have to pick one of those up and drop Cutler since him and Freeman have the same bye in week 7) Is this a good move?
  2. I have Danny Amendola, Jacoby Ford, Malcom Floyd and Nate Burleson in a half point PPR league. (10 team but start 3 WR 2 RB and a flex, this is for last WR spot) I have to start one this week, but I also need to drop one of them to pick up my kicker. I'm having a real tough time with both decisions, pretty much every one of the four has been considered to be either started or dropped at one point. (Floyd v Vikings, Ford is v Broncos, Burleson v Bucs, and Amendola v Eagles.)
  3. King also predicted that John Fox would win coach of the year in that same article, so don't get too impressed.
  4. Turner, and its not close. Although I'm curious about what league you're in and what your other options are that you somehow own both AP and Turner but can only play one of them?
  5. I did the inverse, I rolled the dice on Rodgers over Freeman. The Packers game was on TV and the Bucs game wasn't, so when Rodgers started throwing all his TD passes I felt pretty good about my decision. Then I saw what happened in the Bucs game and was like "Oh, uh, I guess it wouldn't have mattered at all." Although technically I did make the correct decision, by 0.9 points!
  6. TAKE THIS DEAL. The Eagles are locked into the 3-seed and have nothing to play for, so they might sit Vick for the second half or even before that.
  7. Standard scoring Nicks v Packers Vincent Jackson v Bengals Right now I'm leaning heavily towards VJax after last week, but I think Floyd is going to play again so that should hurt his chances. Plus the Bengals are a lot worse against the pass than the Packers. Or I could play both and bench Steven Jackson vs the 49ers, but I don't think I'm going to do that.
  8. Why would McNabb go to Oakland, Campbell and Gradkowski are both way better than him at this point
  9. Any other ideas? I'm still lost. Apparently the weather conditions might end up being bad and windy in NY and Baltimore?
  10. I would never start him in the playoffs at WR. He's banged up, its his first real game, they're playing outside and its snowing, and Chicago has a great D that gets tons of turnovers. He may be benched for Patrick Ramsay at any time. Its entirely possible that he'll throw a pick or two and then get benched for Ramsay, costing you points. Because of the weather, his upside is really not that big. (unless he turns out to be a young Tom Brady, which I wouldn't bet on)
  11. Damn, I wasn't sure about playing Stewart over Mendenhall or Bradshaw, but if people think he should start over AP, I guess I'll have to pencil him in for sure.
  12. I'm starting him at WR in the losers brackets of some Yahoo teams I was eliminated from, just for the comedy value. (unless he turns out to be a young Tom Brady, which I wouldn't bet on)
  13. Maclin and Britt. I would say that Maclin is a definite yes and Marshall is a definite no. It's a tough call between Britt and Fitzgerald. I would honestly go with Britt, he seems fully healthy and has huge potential against the horrible Houston pass D and Kerry Collins definitely likes him the best. I wouldn't trust Skelton at QB, and the Panthers surprisingly allow the second fewest fantasy points to WRs (probably because its easy to run on them). Your RB situation is not tough at all, out of all the players in the league MJD and Foster are probably the two best starts of the week for any position! Blount and Torain aren't even close.
  14. I think I'd go for Britt and Steve Johnson.
  15. Real tough decision for me in the championship game. Standard scoring. Flacco vs Saints Eli vs Eagles Kerry Collins vs Texans I just picked up Collins partially to block my opponent from getting him, but now I'm considering starting him. Eli would be the conventional choice, but he hasn't been so hot in the last few weeks and he did horribly the last time he faced the Eagles. I know Nicks is back, but Manningham and Smith are now out so I'm not sure. Flacco has probably been the most consistent recently and is probably the safest bet for 12 fantasy points, but probably no more than that. I'm starting to consider Collins since the Texans are so easy to throw on, but I'm not sure he nor his receivers are good enough. Houston's run defense isn't so hot either so they may just run it with CJ the whole time. Any advice? I'm currently leaning towards Flacco since he's the safest option and I have a better team on paper than my opponent, but you never know.
