All Pro's second year looks to more competitive and exiciting than last year's Inagural Season,

First, for those of you that don't know me - I manage numerous Leagues, (now under the Umbrella of LuckyDog Sports) and I believe I do it well and with intergrity and fairness. I don't make money on any of them - I do it for the pure enjoyment of Fantasy Football and I have established a core family of Players who continue to return each year and always "Suit-Up" to play in the new ones.

Now for some of the highlights of All Pro.

• MyFantasyLeague.com is a Sponsor of the League (There is No Hosting Fees). Thanks Mike!
  
• Mimics the NFL as close as possible in many facets, i.e., 32 Teams, 2 Conferences, 4 Divisions Per Conference.
  
• Seventeen are Drafted, 10 Start
  
• Players are chosen in an Auction-Draft, Each Fantasy Team has the same allotment of $200 to choose their Roster. Gone are those hated 10-12 spots in a Rotation Draft.
  
• All Pro will be a full-redraft this year, but next year you may keep one Player  for an additional year. NEW
  
• Each Conference has their own pool of Players.
  
• Waiver pickups are through Conditional Blind Blidding where each Team is allotted $100 for the Waiver Wire. (Eliminates the Unfair "Worst Gets First Pick" Scenario). NEW
  
• Left over Auction-Draft Dollars Are added to to Waiver Dollars. NEW
  
• Trading can include Waiver Dollars. NEW
  
• Waivers and Trading begin right after the Auction and last throughout the Playoffs(Playoff Teams Only). NEW

• Entry Fee is $50. Payable a week before the Auction-Draft.

So did you have a crappy Draft? Is your Team already in the Toilet and you would like a do-over, or are just want to prove that your winning ways is not purely luck? If so, Double Down may be your salvation.

Double Down is a hybrid combination of Head-To-Head Leagues, Survivor Leagues and the Playoffs where Drafting Skills are tested on a weekly basis and where Teams are not knocked out,or eliminated until they lose two games. This type of Contest eliminates the necessity of any other Player Moves, i.e., Trades, Injured Reserve, Tax Squads, etc.

Before the 1st game of the 1st Week and subsequent Weeks each Team may choose any NFL Player to fill their Roster

A specific NFL Player may be on one or more Fantasy Teams for any given week and may be chosen as a Starter multiple times during the Season by the same Fantasy Team.

This year we are expanding to 14 Teams

The Entry Fee is low - $21, (Includes PayPal Fees - Can't use LeagueSafe in Mid-Season), and 70% of the Prize Money (less MFL) goes to the winner. Second gets the balance.

Update 08/03/12:

The League is now at Twelve - the minumum, But don't run off yet.

If PROSpectors, (yes, the League name has been changed), receives another 4 qualified applicants we will expand the League to 16 Teams with 4 Diivisions. In doing so, the entry fee will be reduced to $105 and at this point we envision 6 Teams making the Playoffs.

If you want to get on the "Final Four" List, please E-Mail ME - you won't be disappointed.

I'm not going to lie and make the claim that I thought of this League Format - the idea came from Paul at LeagueSafe and also someone told me that they have participated in a similar League.

I am putting a League together based on the "Empire" premise. What's the Empire Format?. Easily answered.

Each year 1/2 of the Entry Fees or a good portion of it, (less expenses), will be held until there is a Back-to-Back Winner who will receive the current year's 1st place prize pool plus the funds that have accumlated in the Progressive Jackpot over time. Which could be quite substantial, depending on how long it is before there is a B2B Winner.

For this reason, I am accepting applicants that are willing to commit for the duration, be active, be a good sport and want to contribute to the formulation of the League. I will scrutinize each applicant.

That's right, each Team Owner will have an input as to what kind of League they want. Whether its a Redraft or Dynasty, Auction or Snake Draft, TD or Performance Based or a of combination scoring, the number of Players on a Roster, how many Starters, whether or not to include IDP, exclude certain positions, combine positions, length of the Season, Playoff format - well you ge the idea, just about everything.

I'm thinking that there will be 12, (possibly 16), Teams with 3 or 4 Divisions and the entry fee will be $105 or $140 or maybe another number ($5 is to cover MFL Hosting Fees). All monies will be safeguarded by LeagueSafe. No upfront money is to be paid until everything is locked in. Currently have 8 Committed Owners. Experience as a Commissioner or as a veteran Fantasy Football Player would be helpful, but not necessary.

All Teams that are selected will talk online to put it together. Sunday, August 5th is the date I have in mind. The Draft will follow about a week after the forumulation meeting and the final approval of the Rules.<p>The post that immediately follows this one is an outline of the items that will be discussed.  They will be used a starting points.
