I'm cautiously optimistic for the 2018 Broncos. Maybe you're right and it wasn't enough, but I am a fan of the personnel moves that Elway made. This is also the first draft I've been happy with in quite a while.
My fear is that I have a strong suspicion that Vance Joseph is awful. I'm willing to ride it out for another season or two before I start calling for his job though.
I am in 7 leagues and commish 3 of them. Combined with real life responsibilities, I don't have time to babysit grown ass men.
That said, if I or another owner does spot an unfilled lineup, I will text or call the owner in question. Frequent violations will get you booted from the leagues that I run.
Godwin is a strong dynasty hold. If DJax can still play, his owner will start getting annoyed by week 6 or so and he will be a strong buy at dirt cheap prices. I expect some flashes from Godwin this year, but 2019 is going to be his breakout year.
Also, I've seen you post a few league operation questions. I like to write down anything that we argue about in-season in my leagues then decide them with a vote in the off season. You can't vote in season because everyone has a conflict of interest. Off season votes will usually yield the best decision for the league as a whole.
This times a million
We reseed in all my leagues, but we voted to do that a long time ago.
In your specific situation, you have to ride with the system. Your league should decide by vote this off season what they want to do.
Personally, I like reseeding because that's what the NFL does.
You're a few a's heavy.
Again...try watching them play. Every time you respond to my assertion of how they looked on the field, you reference stats. These are not the same thing. I discount stats in regards to Chubb anyhow due to the fact that he split time with another first round back, so of course his stats are less than Penny's.
I am also not sure how Chubb is deemed to not possess break away speed. He had plenty of break away TD's at Georgia.
I'm talking about Chubb, and I'm not talking about stats.
Watch the tape. Chubb is flat out amazing with the ball in his hands. He's a very rare combination of speed, power, agility, quickness, and most importantly, vision.
