  1. The offense is expected to result in discipline, with the Falcons being fined and quite possibly losing a draft choice, according to sources. "We were informed during the season that the league office is looking into crowd noise during our games," a Falcons team spokesman said. "We have cooperated fully with them, and we're awaiting the outcome." Ive seen multiple reports that make it look like they are guilty, but its not finalized. The point was, there was a big investigation, there wasn't a huge news release where the NFL fueled the flames, and this is essentially a minor footnote. You wont see anyone analyzing the last couple years worth of statistics to find the edge this gave the Falcons
  2. There was an investigation where they were found guilty of multiple years of cheating. Compared to what happend with #deflategate where there was nothing but accusations that exploded all over the place.
  3. The hawks? Atlanta didn't make the superbowl!
  4. They will touch the balls way more than just on turnovers. Turnovers are going to be less than half of TBT (total ball touches) from the other team per game on average. We could extrapolate TBT over a 10 year period at 9.914 TBTPG and see that it is well over 1000. BTW not a single person has mentioned how the Falcons have been using artificial crown noise for the last two years and got in trouble for it. They aren't the Patriots, and they aren't winning, so no one cares.
  5. The teams that were playing the patriots over the last however many years likely touched the Patriots team footballs multiple thousands of times and no one ever notice a discrepancy. Yet everyone seems ready to tack any number of crazy theories onto the situation that condemns the Patriots of cheating over the last decade. Its insane. Especially when talking heads are on the networks convincing people that all professionals would know the footballs were low just by touching them. More and more people are believing bullhonda like this. Its one thing to have a farfetched conspiracy theory and amuse it because its interesting. Its another to spew it all over the place with passion and no disclaimer.
  6. Tom Brady also threw about 50 interceptions and countless other members of their team fumbled the ball and not once was this issue brought up before, but apparently was caught after a single interception in this game. That stat doesn't mean anything to this issue. This is standard psychological deflection. This is being blown out of proportion because its the Patriots who just had spygate. Lets ignore Peterson, Rice, Concussions, and all the joke decisions Goodell has made this year. Lets ignore the second half a football game that turned into a blowout after the alleged cheating had been caught and ended. Its something that could have been little more than a footnote. "Patriots fined for a minor violation". But here we are....
  7. 10-30k is a pretty substantial amount of his yearly income. guy is probably broke. rookie contract isn't much when you are surrounded by that culture.
  8. I need Phil Dawson to not score less than -5
  9. They will find a way to finish 8-8 lol. Or worse they will go 13-3 and lose in their first game of the playoffs.
  10. A lot of people steal things because they enjoy the rush. Also those things can be anywhere from expensive to insanely expensive. I would image most are serialized though. Just giving what are essentially the only two reasons someone would steal a prosthesis since the author implied it was some massive mystery.
  11. I was coming here to post that it is time to sell high on Bradshaw. Hes #3 currently in our PPR format. He works better in a time share but he is running significantly above TD expectation and that is all his points.
  12. This has pretty much been my point to every discussion on the topic. He was arrested for domestic abuse. He told everyone he did it. He was suspended for domestic abuse. There was a video of him dragging her unconscious body. Public outrage about his insufficient suspension caused the NFL to change its domestic abuse policy. Then 6 months later this video comes out and we are shocked and outraged and demanding justice. Its almost pathetic to me, but I can understand how a whole new demographic was exposed to the incident causing the new upheaval.
  13. I need matt forte to not outscore alshon jeffery by 21 points
  14. Poor surgery, poor rehab, or possibly a poor understanding of the overall limits of his previous procedure. Could just be a freak occurrence but that is really not likely. Sucks when this honda happens because you have to think he will never be the same again. He already wasn't looking 100% this season.
  15. There is a direct correlation between the increasing rights and influence of women and the decay of the economy and societal values. Causation? Thread derail time.
