  1. Sounds about right to me. Will be interesting to see how this plays out with the NFLPA.
  2. Perhaps you are believing Marchand's dives are penalties on the Caps? His antics during this series have been deplorable. I have seen lots of divers in the league but Marchand is in a league of his own.
  3. Pens and Flyers series has been a lot of fun to watch even though I hate both teams. Pens really started gooning it up in game 3. Crosby is such a sneaky, dirty little puss. Asham with the cross check to the throat, neal's cheap shot on Couturier, some goon pulling Hartnell's hair. Entertaining for sure though! Can't wait to see what the Pens pull when Game 4 comes around.
  4. I don't think you are a pansy if you think it is wrong to pay people to purposely try to injure. The NFL is going to try and protect their product. What happened in New Orleans and any other team that did this is wrong IMO.
  5. I commend Goodell for his handlilng of this. Bounties have absolutely no place in the game and the punishment fits the crime. I do feel bad for the fans of the Saints though.
  6. This. Nobody wants to play in Buffalo for a number of reasons. It clearly is not a destination so the Bills are trying to change that with the Williams signing. I would say most of the fan base is ecstatic over the signing. I believe they had 30 million in cap space to go along with the longest playoff drought in the NFL. Williams was the 2nd best FA available and fit a glaring need so they made their big splash. Maybe it will help them to become relevant again Most who watched a lot of the Bills had no major issue with Poz leaving. He is a decent linebacker but is horrible in pass coverage because he is slow. I felt like Barnett was an upgrade when they were playing the 3-4. It will be interesting to see how Sheppard does now that they are transitioning back to a 4-3.
  7. The only egregious contract of the 3 is Fitzpatrick's. We all know how you feel about Stevie so it is not at all surprising to see you be so subjective. That is not an overpayment. He easily would have got a similar or larger contract had he hit the market. Meachem got over 6 mil a year, enough said. It's refreshing to see Buffalo spend money and bring in a big name as opposed to letting guys like Pat Williams, London Fletcher and Winfield walk. How'd that work out over the last decade?
  8. Thank you guys. I will check out baseballhq.
  9. Wondering if any of you are willing to share what baseball sites you use and like. Basically, I'm looking for baseball's version of The Huddle.
  10. As I stated before, Spiller stinks. He has no vision and goes down too easily on first contact. I don't think he will ever be the guy. I pity anyone who has to rely on this guy as their RB.
  11. Correct. However, it is possible to speculate in a fairly reasonable manner. E2A: If you believe it is a reasonable to speculate that those 15 yards cost the Bills the game and a playoff spot then who am I to argue.
  12. I am curious to know if you watched the game? Stevie gets the 15 yard penalty and then on the kickoff the kicker tries to squib kick it and whiffs. The ball goes about 15 yards and the Jets take possession at the Bills 36 yard line. I realize you don't like what Stevie did and I can appreciate that. However, I think it is a real stretch to say those 15 yards cost them the game. I think it is a much more reasonable to question whether the drop cost them the game then the silly 15 yards. The Bills weren't making the playoffs even if they won the game. This team has a lot of holes and injuries. They will be lucky to get to 7-9.
  13. This is where I am on it. I found it to be hilarious but can agree that it wasn't an intelligent move on Stevie's part - he took it a little too far. I had a bigger issue with him dropping that pass than for getting the 15 yard penalty. Stevie has done some good things in the area and I think he is genuinely a good person. He certainly has some growing up to do though.
