Case in point...the Women's NCAA Tourney Five years ago or so, it hardly got any media coverage. Now, there's quite a bit. My personal take is that the media got it into its head that the Women's NCAA is worthwhile and starting stuffing it down our throats rather than the public got interested and demanded more coverage. This poll applies to any low profile sport that is increasing in coverage and popularity (X-Games?). What do you think?

May be "Preaching to the choir" but who here misses the days before free agency? I was more of a NBA fan (Showtime Baby) when I was young. In those days (at least in bball (12 man roster)) a fan could know the teams down to the 12th man.

I was just reading about BB, Charlie Weiss', and Romeo Crennell's embrace at the end of the game. This caused me to remember when offensive and defensive coordinators used to sit in the box. I remember that announcers like Summerall and Madden said that coordinators like to do that because they can see the whole field better. However, I have noticed that more recently (say 10 years) the OC/DC stand on the sidelines. What changed?

What is the Philly media saying about Andy Reid this AM? Is he getting ripped for his clock management? Or, is he getting praised for a great season? Geez, I wish I could get WIP.

I feel confident that this is covered every year about this time but... Anyone watch it? Look forward to it? Enjoy it? I used to like the Pro Bowl when I was more of a 49er homer fan and could look out for "my" players wearing those classic gold and red helmets. Now that I'm a FFL ho, it doesn't hold much interest.

I may be showin' my ignance but how could Dan Dierdorf and Jackie Smith be in the NFL Hall of Fame? I think of Dierdorf as a competent lineman, a crappy MNF announcer, and provider of 50% of the name of a St. Louis steakhouse. I think of Jackie Smith as a butterfingers receiver, the Bill Buckner of the Superbowl. Who here can straighten me out?
