  1. Team 1 traded picks 1.4, 5.4, and 15.4 to Team 2 for 2.4, 4.4, and 5.9 This is a 12 team standard scoring keeper league. We can keep up to 2 players but have to use draft picks. Here is how the draft ended up? Team 1 Team 2 2.4 - Steven Jackson 1.4 - Aaron Rodgers 2.9 - Greg Jennings 1.9 - Calvin Johnson 3.4 - Percy Havin 3.9 - Benjarvius Green-Ellis 4.4 - Doug Martin 5.4 - DeSean Jackson 4.9 - Marshawn Lynch (Keeper) 6.4 - C.J. Spiller 5.9 - Pierre Garcon 7.9 - David Wilson 6.9 - A.J. Green (Keeper) 8.4 - Beanie Wells 7.4 - Justin Blackmon 9.9 - Roy Helu 8.9 - Ben Roethlisberger 10.4 - Rueben Randall 9.4 - Tony Gonzalez 11.9 - Jacob Tamme 10.9 - Matt Schaub 12.4 - Kendall Hunter 11.4 - Steelers DST 13.9 - Davone Bess 12.9 - Mikel LeShoure 14.4 - Lions DST 13.4 - Alfred Morris 15.4 - Laurent Robinson 14.9 - Matt Bryant 15.9 - Matt Prater Which team got the best of this trade?
  2. 12 team league. 4 pts per passing TD. Eli Manning with 1.10. Only Rodgers and Brady had been drafted.
  3. Actually it is based on the injury history of all three players. McFadden has missed 19 games in 3 seasons to injury, Forte has been limited by injury as well. Johnson on the other hand has not and has been a workhorse back. Thanks for your post though it was a great addition to the thread. Oh wait...
  4. Peyton Manning will throw for 4000+ yards and 29 TDs I see the top 10 QBs playing out like this: Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady Drew Brees Matthew Stafford Matt Ryan Cam Newton Peyton Manning Eli Manning Mick Vick Ben Roethlisberger What are your thoughts?
  5. Both more injury prone than Chris Johnson Johnson had an unreal, record setting year in 2009. Of course his stats dropped in 2010. 2011 was an anomaly with the holdout. He is back in shape this year and hasn't lost a step. He may not put up 2009 numbers, but he will for sure top the likes of Forte, SJax, Jamaal Charles, etc.
  6. Chris Johnson has been a hot topic of debate this preseason. With an improved offensive line, a full training camp, and a new attitude towards success, I expect flashes of the old Chris Johnson to reemerge this season. I’m predicting 1,500+ total yards from scrimmage and 13+ touchdowns. What do you think? Will Chris Johnson finish the season as a top 5 RB?
  7. Go with Foster. The Texans will continue to use a run-heavy offense this year. Meanwhile the Ravens plan on opening up the playbook a little bit for Joe Flacco and giving him more shots down the field. I expect the Raven will throw the ball more than they did last year which will decrease Rice's total touches. I'm not say Rice is a bad pick by any stretch of the imagination, but if I had to choose between the two, I would go Foster for this reason.
  8. Go with Lynch, that will be a huge backfield for you. Lynch looks faster and stronger this year if you can believe it. It doesn't look like last year was a fluke. Lynch is here to play. Lock it up.
  9. 4 is too early for a WR, don't waste your pick on calvin. The smart play is Aaron Rodgers at 4 but if you are determined to take a RB, go with Chris Johnson. Johnson is not injury prone like McFadden. McFadden has missed 19 games over the last 3 years. Johnson's only bad year was last year when he missed all of training camp. The Titans have improved the offensive line and Johnson not only particiapted from day one of camp but also attended OTAs for the first time in his career. Johnson has rededicated himself and knows he has to rebound big time from last year if he wants to continue to be relevant in this league. You can bet on Johnson finishing as a top 5 RB this year.
  10. Foster. Yes Rodgers may end the season with more fantasy points than Foster but so will a number of other QBs who will be available later. The top 3 RBs will out score the other RBs by a more significant margin than Rodgers will outscore the other QBs. This year RB is most important position. You need to take Foster at #1.
  11. wow, justin blackmon at the end of the 16th round...everybody is sleeping on him. He is going to have a big year.
