  1. I play in a standard nonppr 12 team league. One of the guys needs another RB since he only has gio, Carlos Hyde, and Bruce Ellington. My rbs are forte, ball, Ellington, Bernard Pierce, bishop sankey, and Ahmad Bradshaw. My wrs are Marshall, Cruz, Michael Floyd, and Brandon cooks. The two wrs he has that I want are dez Bryan and Antonio brown. Was thinking of offering Floyd and Pierce for Brown. Think this is a good trade or should I go with a diff combo? He won't let go of Dez cause he already told me that.
  2. My thoughts exactly. However they all managed to fall to me so I can't complain lol. Some of the guys that I drafted with still think they have a strong squad. One drafted Tom Brady in the first, Welker in the second, Ridley in the third, Gronkowski in the fourth, Vereen in the fifth, and pats d later on. Same guy said he won his other league last year with the same strategy from the same team. Had another guy who drafted only 3 rbs with his second starting RB being Carlos Hyde
  3. Yea I don't know how the rbs fell to me but they did. I picked the steelers defense for their weekend 1 matchup against the browns. Kickers and defenses were being taken very early. I'm talking justin tucker was taken in the 7th round. Monte ball was still there in the 3rd so I couldn't pass it up. I was wanting roddy white instead of Cruz but he got taken before him so I couldn't get him. Cruz was the next best thing. Had another guy drafting almost nothing but patriot players. I chose Ahmad Bradshaw just cause Trent Richardson might bust and Bradshaw actually knows the system. They might end up putting him there. At least that's what all fantasy sites are saying plus I got him in the second to last round lol
  4. So this is a 12 team league. Standard nonppr. We start QB, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 TE, flex (wr,RB,TE), d/st and k. QB: Matt Ryan, Carlson Palmer RB: Matt forte, monte ball, Andre Ellington, bishop sankey, Bernard Pierce, and Ahmad Bradshaw Wr: Brandon Marshall, victor Cruz, Michael Floyd, and Brandon cooks TE: Kyle Rudolph and Charles clay D/st: Steelers K: nick Novack
  5. I wouldn't be too concerned about Spiller. I believe Belicheck had devised a game plan to stop spiller to begin with. He has a way of taking over the opposing teams best player. However when Fred Jackson went in I believe they didn't think that Jackson would get the workload he got so they figured they would be passing instead of running.
  6. Aaaand don't know why is got moved to the advice board whenever these guys are already claimed. Wanted to see what the consensus was for these guys
  7. Out of these backup RBs which would you rather have? Bernard Pierce, Roy Helu, or Bryce Brown? These guys who if thrust into the starting roll would be rb1s instantly. It sounds bad to ask but who has the greater chance of becoming the starting RB?
  8. Standard scoring 4 pt passing TDs. Who should I start this week? RGlll worries me since he hasn't played any preseason and is coming off that knee injury while luck has been doing pretty well and is posed for a breakout year. Still a lot of people have RGlll ranked higher. Both are playing poor defenses so I'm kind of torn. What do you guys think?
  9. Indeed I do too. I haven't ever played in one but I think it would be fun and I think I'd kick ass. I'd draft late rounders on high offensive teams like lance Moore from the saints or Harry Douglass from the falcons. All guys u can get in late rounds but could have a couple weeks where they blow up
  10. Hence get some TD vultures for your bench. Such as Andre brown
  11. We start 1 QB/2RB/2WR/Flex/DST/K. Standard nonPPR league, 4 point passing TDs and 6 point rushing. QB: Matt Stafford RB: Ray Rice RB: Stevan Ridley WR: Vincent Jackson WR: Eric Decker Flex: Frank Gore TE: Jermichael Finley DST: Patriots D K: Randy Bullock Bench: Andy Dalton Leveon Bell Hakeem Nicks Shane Vereen Lance Moore Andre Brown Jordan Cameron Please rate. Do I need to swing some trades? Should I get a different defense? Leave link and I'll return the favor
  12. Still tracking him but Shane Vereen this year. The TD from tonight was a good indicator. He lines up at RB and wr. I'm thinking he would be a smart pick this year
  13. Not a Bills fan either but I'm a Spiller fan. I believe Spiller has the potential to be a stud but he shouldn't get any more than 20-25 touches a game. 30 is an insane amount for any RB. Fred Jackson is goin to have to come in for relief. But I like the fact that he wants Spiller to have a good bit of carries in the game
  14. Well you gotta see how the coach has him play in these preseason games. Granted they wont used him like they will in the regular season games but the coach states that he wants Spiller to have 20-30 touches a game. With a statement like that I think he might have Spiller in during redzone attempts since he believes that Spiller will make the plays to get them in there. Jackson might come in for short yardage work such as 1-2 yard attempts. But it will be interesting to see how they utilize Spiller
