  1. Don't think Dez or Tre'quan are going to be worth owning in Fantasy this year because of this signing.
  2. This is the time of year people typically get burnt out. Whether your season was a complete waste of time is becoming more and more clear as these later weeks roll by. All the hype has subsided for over half of the league and it's pretty clear who the league winners are going to be. This year is particularly annoying because 99% of the championship teams are going to have Todd Gurley, Alvin Kamara, Melvin Gordon or James Conner on their team. So good luck if you don't have either of those guys. Been trying to get out of Fantasy for years now. Seems like every year I get roped into a couple of leagues last second because people ask me to join and I can't say no.. RBBC's and the lack of workhorse backs, as well as the offensive rule changes giving rise to viable WRs galore on the waiver wire has killed the game for me this year. I don't have much hope it'll change. If you have a stud RB or two, you're basically guaranteed a Championship appearance given that you're not brain dead on the waiver wire.
  3. We've had injuries at the following positions:LT, LT2, LG, C, RG, RT, RB, RB, RB, WR, WR, PR, TE, TE2, TE3, CB2, NB, NB2, DE, DE. I'll relent a bit to say last season was a fluke in the way that the only notable injury we had was losing A-Rob for the year. Not that losing your WR1 is a small thing. But to say last season was a "fluke" in terms of talent is just insulting. Injury bug bit the Jags hard this year. Our QB is only good when everything around him has been good and can't carry the offense. Defense gets put in bad situations and has lost morale in a couple games. I don't think Jags are world beaters and I admit we're not deep enough on offense to overcome the injuries. We definitely need a new QB. But Bortles has proven to be serviceable with a No. 1 rushing attack and a healthy o-line. But currently he leads the league in Turnovers, so that's awesome too. Our WR Corp is young but talented. No true No. 1 talent but I don't think its needed in our offense. If we got a new QB and got pass happy I might see needing a No. 1. But really the only thing this team needs is: O-line depth(which is every team pretty much), TE depth, and a new QB.
  4. That's the narrative, I just don't buy it. Bortles isn't great, but there's noone the Jags can trade for that would help them out any this year. Teddy B., Bradford, Manning, RG3, ect. are not going to work miracles on this offense. The best bet Jags have is to re-establish their run game, stop dropping catchable passes (god the drops on 3rd down have killed this team) and to limit turnovers. All is feasible, I'm just thinking it comes a little too late for the Jags to make a post-season run this year.
  5. I'm not so convinced Eli would be better than Bortles. Jags o-line is beat up AND playing poorly. Little ol' Eli wouldn't be doing any better in Jacksonville than he's currently doing in New York as far as that's concerned and considering most talking heads are calling his career done, I don't see the appeal as a Jags fan... We SHOULD have gotten a QB in the offseason, at this point it'd surprise me if we made a move for anyone at the position.
  6. I was skeptical earlier in the season, not because of talent but because of target share. With Ginn out of the picture and Meredith behind him on the depth chart, I'm all in.
  7. I'm in a keeper league and nobody ever wants to trade draft picks.
  8. Considering how this one ended, I don't think it was a mistake at all to kick the PAT as opposed to the two point conversion. If I was the coach I'd have gone for 2 though.
  9. Look at his college highlights. Ito was touted as a sleeper over at Rotoworld. I think he might be the most talented back on this team.
  10. I feel like I was better at fantasy football back when I didn't know what I was doing. Had a wicked run and won 3 out of the first 4 years in my local and haven't had teams as good since. One of the teams only dropped one game and was 1st in points scored most weeks.
  11. Barkley flashed Brilliance tonight. This offense is still an absolute mess but thankfully for Barkley that only stands to pad his fantasy numbers.
  12. Because theres no return date for him yet. Basically trying to buy him as much time as possible so he can (hopefully) play healthy into the post season. Rumors have him coming back after the bye. Itd be a shock if he was out for that long but if Jags are winning games then it probably makes the most sense long term.
