  2. Dynasty League - Rookie/Free agent draft 5/23/08 Hightower at 4.5 Free agent Waiver picks: 5/28/08 - Maurice Morris - waiver fee $5.00 7/2/08 - Brett Favre - waiver fee $5.00 8/6/08 - JTO - waiver fee $5.00 8/13/08 - Josh Morgan - waiver fee $5.00
  3. Our dynasty league has ended its 2nd season and there has been discussions regarding adding salaries and contracts. Is this something that can work? We currently have active rosters of 21 (non-IDP) 4 taxi squad spots and a maximum of 2 IR spots. We have our 7rd rookie and free agent draft in May and we have to cut down to 18 players just prior to the draft Are there websites that have established salary data for these leagues? Any help that anyone can offer me I would be truly appreciative
  4. I have been offer either Jay Cutler or Derek Anderson and Earnest Graham for Ryan Grant in my Dyansty league ( below is my current roster) plus I have the 2nd pick in the Rookie/FA draft in May 08' which I will probably draft Jonathan Stewart. What do you think? *Prior to the draft I need to cut down to 18 Player YTD Pts Bye Drafted Garcia, Jeff TBB QB 199 10 FA McCown, Luke TBB QB 56 10 FA Rosenfels, Sage HOU QB 148 10 FA Schaub, Matt HOU QB 143 10 FA Smith, Alex SFO QB (I) 54 6 FA Booker, Lorenzo MIA RB 31 9 2.02 Bush, Reggie NOS RB 164 4 FA Grant, Ryan GBP RB 143 7 FA Hall, Andre DEN RB 34 6 FA Harrison, Jerome CLE RB 11 7 FA Lewis, Jamal CLE RB 199 7 FA Morris, Maurice SEA RB 86 8 FA Pittman, Antonio STL RB 12 9 3.02 Rhodes, Dominic OAK RB 17 5 FA Williams, Ricky MIA RB (I) 1 9 FA Wright, Jason CLE RB 38 7 FA Wynn, DeShawn GBP RB (I) 44 7 FA Carter, Drew CAR WR 59 7 FA Clayton, Mark BAL WR 49 8 FA Jackson, Darrell SFO WR 53 6 FA Johnson, Calvin DET WR 93 6 1.02 Marshall, Brandon DEN WR 173 6 FA Moore, Lance NOS WR 42 4 FA Walter, Kevin HOU WR 112 10 FA Gonzalez, Tony KCC TE 225 8 FA Watson, Ben NEP TE 98 10 FA Gostkowski, Stephen NEP PK 135 10 6.06 27 Total Players
  5. Alex Smith is only going to be 24 this year - I saw enough in him in the 06' season to believe that he still has a future. Martz will help a lot and I don't believe Gore's numbers will be reduced at all. Niners need to draft a big play WR in the first round and use some of there cap to get some good FAs. Nolan will end up getting fired and Martz will take over - Just my prediction
  6. What do you think about the possiblity of Jonathan Stewart getting drafted by the Seahawks and the future of Maurice Morris there?
  7. Should I trade Ryan Grant for EGraham and Jay Cutler My other QBs are MSchaub, Jeff Garcia and Alex Smith - I am going to pickup off waivers this week Sage and Shaun Hill My other Top RBs are JLewis and RBush - I do have the 2nd pick in the rookie draft so I will get Jonathan Stewart to add depth Please advise. Thanks, Brad
  8. To prevent that in the future - You should do what our league does - We use MyFantasyLeague.com for our website - we have 3 division winners then the 3 wild card teams are determined by the best overall "All-Play" record. By doing it this way, you can almost guarantee that the best 6 teams in the league are in the playoffs
  9. I was 14-0 and lost by 1pt in the semi-finals in week 15 Monday Night Football - Packers vs the Vikings in 1999 I won the following week for a 3rd place finish and a 15-1 season That was the best team in our league history that didn't win the championship - Out of the 14 week regular season I had the high points for the week 9 times. That MNF game bummed my life................................................................ ....
  10. I am going with Young as my RB2 and Portis as my RB1 - I have Henry and Hall I lost Bush for the season after trading away RGrant, MColston and Kitna to get Bush, Branch and Palmer on 11/6/07 I have a chance to win regardless of my lack of patients and stupidity
  11. Nice choke by Romo last season, maybe he will do a encore performance this season - The cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl since 1995 There are 32 teams in the NFL - One Super Bowl winner - every one else is just waiting for the next season - Patriots will win this year and it will be back to the barn for the cowboys and the other 30 NFL teams.
  12. Yea - Yea! My team is a bust, but like someone had written earlier, injuries have been huge. It doesn't help that your so-called number one receiver didn't practice with the team all off-season. Alex, VD and Gore have all been injuried. It's tough being a niner fan, but I would rather be one and acknowledge it and how proud I am to be one then climb on a bandwagon like most fans do - Where are all those Bear's fans from last year? Living in California it amazing seeing so many Patriot & Red Sox fans every where - There is nothing I hate more then a bandwagon fan especially seeing women with gear on. Most of them BI^&Hes can't even name 4 players on the team. The Niners will have their day in the not so distant future and I will be proud because I have been there for the bad, the great, the bad and the great again. Peace Out!
  13. I am a Henry owner (plus I have Young & Hall) Are you being sarcastic? I hope - Cheering for Henry, a man with nine kids from nine different woman plus has the nads to go smoke dope after signing a big contract with Denver when he has all those mouths to feed is BS - Gooddell is good for the NFL - I hope this a sarcastic statement, because if it isn't your lack of intelligence is overwhelming.
  14. I don't do drugs, but after seeing the Bryant Gumble show on HBO where they interviewed Earl Campbell - I believe it might not be that bad to let a player smoke a joint once in a while for pain. Football is a hard life and it isn't like smoking pot is going to be a competitive advantage. Medicinal Josh Gordon for the NFL - All natural - 100% home grown - I am for it and I am a Republican........
