  1. So for better or worse I've traded off a few potential keepers and have left my three keepers as: Forte (1st round 7th overall pick) Lacey (5th round 47th overall) Julius Thomas (14th round 134th overall) The other options I have at my disposal are Jordan Cameron (12th Round) and J Bell, (16th round). Guy approached me today with interest in Lacy and I told him it would take something monumental. Only thing he has that interests me are Alshon and Ellington both a 16th round keepers. I know the value represented with Ellington/Alshon might be greater in the 16th but I dont see moving off Lacey as being a good idea? Anyone have any thoughts? (P.S) I have an extra 2nd round pick this year and am missing my 6th if that factors in. WHIR Drop a link.
  2. 10 Man .5 PPR league. 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE 1WR/RB Flex and 1WR/RB/TE flex, 1DST, 1K Team 1: Qb: Newton RB: Ball, Murray, Stacy, Richardson, Woodhead, Hill WR: Cobb, Andre Johnson, Floyd, Wright, Shorts, J Matthews TE: Ertz Def: Broncos K: Bailey Team 2: QB: Luck, Brady RB: Bell, FJax, B Pierce WR: Demaryius, Fitzgerald, Amendola, Evans, Williams, Austin, Kearse, Baldwin TE: Reed Def: Seahawks K: Zuerlien Is this much better for one team? A win/win? Drop a link guys
  3. Ok so I asked a while back about potential keeper strategy here and just made two trades tonight getting some value for 2 players i wasnt going to keep. How'd i do? Heres the situation: 10 Team standard scoring league Keep 3 Players Keep them in round they were drafted +1 (4th becomes a 3rd) Can only keep one of first two round picks (they both have 1st round value) Waiver wire pickups count as 16th round picks My team prior to trade with rounds players can be kept in brackets: QB: Stafford (6), Rodgers (1) RB: Lynch (1), Forte (1), Steven Jackson (2), Lacy (5), Joique Bell (16) WR: Cruz (3), Vjax (4), Harvin (16), Allen(16), Marvin Jones (16) TE: Julius Thomas (14), Jordan Cameron (12) I'd decided I was going to keep Forte, Lacy and Julius Thomas which basically meant I had Harvin and Allen as legit trade bait. Here's what i traded: Trade 1: Harvin + 34th overall for 18th overall Trade 2: Allen + 54th overall + 18th overall for 38th and 17th overall This ultimately gives me net: Harvin + Allen 6th round pick for a 2nd round pick with a bit of movement in round 4. Did I do ok? Basically that 2nd round pick was VERY appealing to me. Gives me the potential to have Forte, Lacy and say two of Marshall/Julio/Demarco Murray/Doug Martin/Rodgers or similar. Think it worked out for those two as well as their keeper choices werent good. Drop a link WHIR
  4. Heres what the board looks like (guesses of course) with the lynch trade scenario. I may also try to trade Allen for a decent pick to team 4 who has like 0 keepers beyond charles. Edit.... no idea how to get pic to show in the file
  5. See thats the type of scenario I was kinda hoping someone would bring to the table. So I guess my question is: Is having Forte, Lacy, Julio and Thomas better than having Lacy, Foster, Allen and Thomas plus getting to continue to keep Allen at a extremely low rate? AKA Is the bump down from Forte to Foster (as an example) for one year worth keeping Allen in the very late rounds for 3 years? I'm leaning towards the keeping Forte Scenario and hoping to snag another guy like allen off waivers in the next year or two (which seems likely)
  6. Fairly standard league. 10 players start 1QB, 2 WR 2RB 1TE 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE) 1D/ST 1 Kicker 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving 6 points per rushing/receiving TD, 4 points per passing td and 1 point per 25 yards passing. It's really hard to tell at this point because I have a hunch about who will keep 1st rounders but am guessing. For example the guy in the 1.02 spot is a huge Cincinnati fan and may keep AJ green there even though its probably not advisable. An Im guessing the guy in the 1.1 spot is actually going to trade for Peterson and keep him in that spot but thats not final at the moment. Pure guesswork but I kinda figure first round is going to go: 1.1 = Peterson 1.2 = AJ Green 1.3 = _________ (This guy would likely give his left nut for Lynch and/or Harvin) 1.4 = Charles 1.5 = _________ 1.6 = Calvin Johnson 1.7 = Me 1.8 = Peyton 1.9 = McCoy 1.10 Jimmy Graham Players I see available = Foster, Doug Martin, Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Brees, Rodgers, Morris (If I threw back Lynch and Forte I suppose there's a tiny chance Forte makes it to me at 1.07?)
  7. Hi Everyone, I'm trying to plan out my keepers for next year and start some trade talks with the guys i cant keep that have value. My questions are which 3 players would you keep and what value should i get in return for the players I dont that have value (or should i just throw them back)? So our keeper rules are: Keep up to 3. You keep the player in the round they were drafted in -1 so a 5th rounder becomes a 4th rounder. etc. This means you can only keep one of your two first rounders. And players can only be kept 3 years but this is the first year of our league. Heres my roster with the round they players can be kept in in brackets: QB: Stafford (6), Rodgers (1) RB: Lynch (1), Forte (1), Steven Jackson (2), Lacy (5), Joique Bell (16) WR: Cruz (3), Vjax (4), Harvin (16), Allen(16), Marvin Jones (16) TE: Julius Thomas (14), Jordan Cameron (12) K: Whatever Def: Whatever I have a nice range of options there. (WW pickups are last round keepers). I'm thinking I get the most value out of keeping Eddie Lacy, Julius Thomas and Keenan Allen. I'd probably be looking to trade Harvin in that Scenario. You would think that getting to keep Harvin at 16, 15 and a 14th would garner some sever interest as that's great value even if you aren't a big fan of him. Is this the route i should go? If so what should i be trying to get back? If not what do you think I should do? P.S. I draft 7th and see at least 2 guys ahead of me not keeping their first rounders. In that case I'd bet against getting Forte or Lynch back . I may have the option to trade lynch to a huge seahawks fan in 1.03 spot and getting a pick back as an extra boost as i wont get him anyway?
  8. So I've done some tinkering but this is my lineup for my first ever fantasy league. 10 Teams, basic type of league. QB: Ben Roethlisburger, Andy Dalton RB: Ray Rice, Ryan Mathews, Stephen Ridley, Ahmad Bradshaw WR: Dwayne Bowe, Wes Welker, Steve Smith (CAR), Vincent Jackson and james jones TE: Jimmy Graham, Brent Celek K: Stephen Gostkowski DEF: Seattle Seahawks Should i be looking to boslter any part of my lineup? I'm looking for waiver pick up that might replace Celek but thats about it right now. Thanks guys!
  9. So I proposed this trade, it was accepted. Tried to make another trade with the dude and he snapped on me saying the last trade was unfair and he never meant to accept. I sent: Aaron Rodgers Rob Gronkowski Pierre Thomas I Got: Andy Dalton Ray Rice Brent Celek I'm new to fantasy football this year but it seems to me like he got the better end of that trade but i was happy making it because I had Jimmy Graham still as me TE and Ben Roethlisburger as my other QB. What do you guys think?
