  1. Standard scoring PPR league. Need to pick two of the following for flex spots. I am already giving one spot to DeSean Jackson. CJ Spiller - Explosive preseason but will likely split carries with Fred Jackson at least early in the season. The Phins are a strange team to predict, both offensively and defensively. Their offense may take some time to click putting the defense on the field more. Their secondary is shaky and their front seven have had significant turnover from last season. They will likely blitz frequently from several directions with Nolan as their coordinator, but they have not had time to gel and may give up the home run here and there although mostly to WRs so far. Jahvid Best - Obviously he had a nice average during the preseason and makes some Sanders-like moves at times. I am not that educated about the Bears defense nor am I certain how much the Lions will use him the first week. Jerome Harrison - exploded at the end of last year against marginal competition. He is the clear number 1 back now but Hillis may vulture some goal-line carries. I like the match-up against TB. Tough to start two rookie RBs the first week of the season with a somewhat proven talent (Harrison) on the bench. Rookie RBs have to show they can pick up the NFL blitz, make decisions and go through the hole, and that they have the mentality to play the game at the NFL speed. I am leaning between Harrison and Spiller over both rookies because I am really not certain how much the rooks are going to play in week one. Any advise or insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance and good luck on the season fellow Huddle members.
  2. Finley. I like Davis, but Campbell not looking good since the Saints game and Finley should feast on the Hawks. I have both of these guys on my team and am starting Finley.
  3. Finals Game 6 pts per rushing/rec TD .25 pts per reception we also use IDPs Starting Alex Smith, Miles Austin, DeSean Jackson, Ray Rice and Jermichael Finley Need 2 more flex spots between the following 4 players: Jerome Harrison -- IF Mangini can commit to him and not Jennings this would seem a no brainer so as of now he is in my lineup. Ahmad Bradshaw -- Carolina has a poor run defense, and Ahmad has been more productive than Brandon as of late. Michael Bush -- If Fargas is out, would seem to be a good matchup as long as he gets the primary duties over Mcfadden Robert Meachem -- Lance Moore is out, but still a lot of cooks in this kitchen I am struggling between Bradshaw and Bush for my last spot, but am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.
  4. Standard Performance League/ Scoring League Fargas: Don't like going against the Cols D here even if his ribs are ok. Stecker: Will get at least 15 to 20 touches against the cardinals. This is the way I am leaning. Patton: A nice match up against Arizona coming off a solid outing last week, but was invisible the previous 4 weeks. With Bush out will get more looks. Seems like a high reward/risk player, but over Stecker? hmmm White: 3 straight games with TDs, questionable today, although did practice Friday. Redman under center better than Harrington. Could be boom/bust player. Last week almost had 2 TDs but almost had none as his 39 yarder was quite the play. Hard to risk it. Am going against a guy with Payton Manning, MJD, Colston, and Westbrook. I have already played Chad Johnson, Darius Walker and Sage Rosenfels. I still Have Marshawn Lynch and Braylon Edwards. It is not looking too good but you never know when a guy is gonna explode. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Standard performance scoring league. I am currently starting Rosenfels. I see these guys with similar potential. The tie breaker decision is that I am also starting Marshawn Lynch and Braylon Edwards. I hate to place all my apples in one basket, but sometimes the high risk moves have high reward potential. Thanks in advance for any help and good luck to all in the playoffs.
  6. QB Help Garrard, Vince Young, Mcknown (TB QB), or Trent Edwards against Miami's def with everyone out
  7. Standard performance scoring league. They seem about equal to me. With Andre Johnson back is the Titans a better matchup for Schaub? Will the colts and Jags put up some points? or will it be a defensive game?
  8. For some reason I went through huddle priority news and then into Sunday inactives instead of Sunday inactives from the homepage. Thanks for correcting me and apologies to anyone who reads this post.
  9. There is an error on the site. The date is listed as Sept 9th. Dang! Perhaps the default is week one until later in the morning?
  10. Go to the inactive report list and he is listed as out.
  11. Ignore this post. Sorry fellow huddlers. I looked at the site for today's injury report and for some reason my computer is showing sept 9th week one. On this site's Sunday inactive report Kevin Jones is out today. I need a last flex spot. Does T.J. Get the start or Bell?
  12. Thanks for the reply. Does anyone else in huddle land have insight as to who is the better start of this bunch and why? Thanks, and good luck this weekend.
  13. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Standard performance scoring league. Need to pick two from this group. I am currently leaning in the listed order. Big question is do you ever sit Ocho Cinco? Chad Johnson: usually a no brainer...but what has he done this year and against the Steelers ever? Hate to ever sit him and watch him explode. He is also hampered by an injury, but did practice fully on Friday. Jesse Chatman: He should get at least 15 touches today and may get a bit more as the rest of the offense is comprised of rookies and I would expect the Giants to score a lot against Miami's defense. Deshawn Wynn: He does score touchdowns and Denver is giving up rushing yards by the bunch. If GB is going to take the next step they are going to have to improve in the running game and if not now then wynn? Jason Wright: The dreaded Game time decision. If he starts he is going against St. Louis. He may split time with the rookie even if he starts. Overall my least favorite choice. My other starters are Reggie Bush, Marshawn Lynch, Braylon Edwards. I don't see a reason to bench any of them in favor of the above mentioned. Again: The big question do I sit Chad Johnson for Deshawn Wynn? Thanks in advance for any input.
  14. If last week had never happened, I would agree with you. Of course I played Henderson and sat Bush last week, so now I am a bit paranoid. At least we agree with sitting Walker...which I hate to do, but....Cutler....Cutler....Cutler. Hopefully the future is soon
