He should go coach Nantucket high school football and enjoy the rest of his days.

In my league points scored is the tie breaker for playoffs and also most points scored gets some $$$ -

I lead league on points and also am 3-4 - Seems I get everyone's best shot each week. Lost past two weeks and had second highest totals. -
I don't like it. They brake up a couple songs come out about Kelce and his career is over. 😀

YouTube wins NFL Sunday Ticket... no more DirecTV

viewing sports is going to get a lot more expensive. I heard ESPN is going 100 percent streaming so who is going to have make up the $10 bucks or so they get from every cable subscriber? The people that pay for the streaming service. And I feel like its going to get harder and harder to get a lot of your sports on one or two services. Everyone loved streaming but I think we might look back at the days of cable as the good old days for sports even at the price we are/were paying. -
Have been in a league with high school friends for just about 20 years. Draft was always at someone's house - Everyone attended. Good times. Marriages, kids, moves, etc. We still had it where only one guy had to call into draft. COVID hits 2020 and we have a remote draft - This year roles along and we only get 6 people to the in person draft. No more draft board. Entire draft online. This is not a cheap league. Not huge money but we pay for transactions and there is a good amount of money involved. My problem is I do not play for the money. It was more to stay in touch and know that no matter what I would see 10 out of those 11 guys at least once a year. Is that gone. Is this draft going all remote? Are we really that busy in life. Anyone else have these issues and did it work out? I guess it inevitable We will be drafting in the metaverse soon.

Here is MA right now its up to individual towns. So if the town of Foxboro says fans attending games have to show proof of vax or negative test the Patriots would have to follow that. My kids play hockey and its the same thing. Depending on the town the rink is in you might have to wear a mask or show proof of vax or a negative test. Not sure how it is in other States. Not advocating for or against VAX just stating facts on how it works in MA right now.

Deshaun Watson accused of sexual assault, says he's innocent

haaa I set myself up for that one. Yes Kraft is a scumbag. Only difference between Kraft and Watson is we know Kraft was guilty. -

Why is an NFL star QB hiring massage therapists off instagram? And its common knowledge that asking for a groin area massage is the hint that you are looking for the happy ending. And if you didn't know that now you do. -
NFL's possible coming deals with Amazon

Problem with streaming is you can't flip though the channels. So when we cut the cord you could have football, playoff baseball, maybe golf all on at same time. It sucks to try to watch them all at same time because you can't flip around channels. You have to find out what streaming service its on, it take a minute to boot up, whatever. We switched back to cable. -
I don't post much anymore but have been around since 2003. Not sure of the cut off to be in the club.

Patriots had a positive test today. With NE and Denver past their bye weeks this would mean a week 18 unless they can play Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Mondays could turn into the new Sunday. Its Oct 15th. I guess we can keep this going until teams start to double/triple there missed games. Then your looking at week 19, 20, etc. NFL should have built in more bye weeks this year. Or maybe give the whole league a two week break and take a look at where these infections are coming from. My guess is its starting off the field. Guys hanging out with friends, family, etc. Living life.

Have not really started to think about my leagues until I started seeing on the news that players have started to opt out. Have been too wrapped up worrying about if kids are going back to school and if youth sports will happen in the Fall. What does everyone think about this year? We have a live draft and can't have it at a bar so will have to move to someones house. Thinking about expanded rosters this year as looking at MLB players could be out for a week or two if they test positive. Stay safe everyone.

We used to do the beer thing for the next years draft. Lasted about 15 years. We all got older and don't drink that much anymore so its BYOB now. Our league is competitive but the trash talking had died down. I think it will pick back up when we are running our draft from the nursing home. Also we have a rule that when you die you have to leave your team to one of your kids. No outsiders coming in.
