Panthers make roster move; key player sits out practice October 27th, 2010, 2:03 pm by sreed The Panthers have placed LB Jamar Williams (neck) on injured reserve and signed LB Abdul Hodge, who spent time with Cincinnati and Green Bay. Hodge has played in 32 games since coming into the league in 2006 and started one. He has 29 career tackles and no sacks. I’d expect Hodge will be inactive for a few weeks and if he does play down the road it will be on special teams. Also, RB DeAngelo Williams was held out of practice with a sprained foot. Here's the deal, dude's been sitting on my bench all year.....I made it to the playoffs with a turd-cake of a team somehow, then won it last week because of the +5 point homefield advantage...I also managed to get a number 1 seed.....Now I'm playing for the marbles (all of them). I'm starting him. Got this far on gambles. If there's any week to start him, since he's become a mighty bengal, it's this week. Don't try to talk me down. Newcastle is my absolute favorite beer.
