  1. Any particular reason?
  2. How do you embed an image into a post through uploading it?
  3. I think the Jets screwed themselves. They obviously went into that game giving Geno the starting job on a silver platter. Once Geno was obviously not going to cut it, they were hoping Sanchez would go in and play well to save the day, but the worst possible scenario unfolded. Now the only option they'll probably have is to go with Geno. Should make for some entertaining press conferences!
  4. I've alway found the best way to determine draft position is to base it off of a loser playoff bracket from the previous season. This is a great way to ensure that everyone stays engaged for the entire year. Even if you don't win a game for the entire regular season, you would still have a shot at the #1 draft position just by maintaining your team. You can read more about this and other ideas here.
  5. Maybe Keenan Allen will get a chance to shine. Malcom Floyd isn't very reliable and Vincent Brown can't stay healthy. Someone has to catch the balls in San Diego right?
  6. The Jets and Ravens have been named as possible landing spots. I think he'd be a better fit in Baltimore where there seems to be a solid locker room. The Patriots let him go because he "wasn't a good locker room fit", so I'm thinking going to a Jets team full of weird personalities would be a bad idea.
  7. If you're not locking players before gametime then you're using very archaic rules. Those are out-dated and you need to adopt the current waiver rules. If you lock players and make everyone go through the waiver system, then there is no need to limit the number of transactions. If anyone makes a pick-up, they go to the back of the waiver priority.
  8. Even with full workload, what is Lacy's worth? Last year the leading Packers rusher had 464 yards. The 2nd leading rusher was Aaron Rodgers!
  9. I agree. People are bored and this fake rage stuff make popular culture such a drag these days. Find something better to do with your time than to obsess over a word.
  10. It really depends on your scoring rules and how your defensive scoring compares to the other positions. Defenses are notirious for being unpredictable, and there are always a few surprise teams that you can easily pluck from waivers as the season progresses. While other teams are sticking with their defenses because they blew a 9th rounder on them, I just watch the trends and scoop-up a surprise team for a measly waiver-wire selection.
  11. For me, the greatest part about fantasy football is that is makes just about every game exciting. Especially if you're in 2 leagues or more, the chance that either one of your players or one of your opponents' players is playing is very high. Before fantasy I only had interest in my home team and didn't care much for any other games (except may those of a team in our division late in the year). Now almost every game influences what happens in our fantasy league, which is great.
  12. I use our customized cheat sheet interface to create my rankings, then geneate a single-sheet printable which contains the rankings at all of the standard fatasy positions. This is really all I need to make my selections. However, depending on when my league drafts, I usually do a quick sanity-check of each selection (i.e. a quick Google New Search) to ensure that guys I'm about to draft didn't break his leg, get a DUI, or strangle a hooker.
  13. I like to shoot for the lowest position where I know I can get a 1st-tier running back. In addition to ensuring that I get a 1st-tier RB, this also ensures I have the highest 2nd-round draft choice of any other owners who got a 1st-tier running back. This year I think that position is 5. This will allow you to get one of the "Big 5": Peterson, Foster, Marin, Charles, or Lynch.
