  1. And with the NFL hiring her to affirm their case, that doesn't give her any bias to agree with them I suppose? Dude they paid her to agree with them. Bottom line - Saints fans would probably go along with most of this if there was evidence produced - not the suspension amounts, but with penalties. How in the world can someone hand out punishments, rule that he's their appeals judge, uphold his original punishments, and never show a shred of evidence?
  2. thanks rajn. Went from an office job to not, and don't have as much "disposable" time.
  3. Agreed and agreed - although I will say that as the year goes on it will depend more on how far we get ahead. If we get a big lead, you could see some entire 4th quarters with Bell. Who knows?
  4. Yep - I believe with both healthy that they'll split. PT is much more adept at pass protection though - IIRC. Sure wish we could just trade Reggie.
  5. Yep - me too. I believe this is my first post in about 3 years though.
  6. Yep. I wish Usama was OK and could get some time in as well, but most people will be back and available for this one.
  7. Agreed rajn. Ironically enough, I also have an inflated opinion of Jake as well - Haslett really screwed that whole situation up. With Brees though, he's in a pass-happ offense and therefore will put up the #'s, but really his leadership is what people seem drawn to in NO - players and fans alike. I honestly thought this thread was fish bait for the first 2 pages.
  8. I hate blanket statements like this, but I have to say that if you think Brees lacks pocket presence I seriously doubt you actually watched Saints games the last 2 years. His pocket presence and quick release contributed to the Saints being close to the lead (they may have lead - I can't remember) in pass attempts and fewest sacks in 2006. As for being a leader off the field, this is a guy that moved right into downtown NO (v/s moving to one of the cleaner, safer suburbs - especially following Katrina) and really jumped into the community and the rebuilding. I am a huge Delhomme fan - he's a Louisiana boy and I really wanted him starting over Brooks when he was still here, but this is crazy.
  9. Completely agree rajn. I'd like to have him - no question - but not at much of a price. Eric Johnson can catch well, and Billy Miller does a very good job from what I can tell every time his number is called.
  10. Does McFadden remind anyone of Peterson? They both seem big, fast, and run basically upright. They just seem very similar to me.
  11. Aaron Brooks really sucks
  12. Bring em all in. None can be as bad as Mare is now.
