  1. Well luckily not for me, I'm good to go in my league, however the last playoff (6th seed) spot was up for grabs last weekend and I'm confused as to how it worked out this way. Under our league settings the playoff tiebreaker is listed as:"Best regular season record vs opponent wins" so the final playoff up for grabs between 3 people, which came down to two as two of those teams played against one another. Their final records were 6-7. Let's call them, "Rick" & "Darryl." Rick ended up with the final spot even though Darryl had beaten Rick in their only match of the year, so wouldn't Darryl get the final spot on account of defeating Rick head to head earlier in the season. Rick did have more points, but their records were the same. I'm not biased toward either player, it's strictly a matter of curiosity. I hope I didn't make this more confusing than it needed to be! Thanks everyone!
  2. I also have Rivers and Palmer and I wouldn't accept that trade. Reed is better than Kelce and Bennett when he's healthy. I realize the "when he's healthy" is a big deal, but I wouldn't break up Rivers/Palmer unless you're getting an elite player. I also own Kelce and he's not been elite. It's great that he scored a TD for the first time since Week 1, but Reed is a threat to score in every game. Bennett is good insurance in case Reed goes down, so you really don't have any reason to accept this trade. Just my $.02
  3. I disagree. Since returning from his injury he's had 247 yards rushing and 2TDs in those 3 games. Those aren't bad numbers by any means, especially since he was coming off an injury. If 3 weeks from now he's not producing Beast Mode numbers, it'll be hard to be hopeful, but as of now I'm still confident he can return ro RB1 status. Time will tell. Now Murray? That's a situation that's hard to remain hopeful...
  4. Do you foresee Marshawn Lynch returning to RB1/Beast Mode the rest of the way, or do you think he'll be more of a RB2? The Foster injury was tough for me since I had just traded away Mark Ingram, but the rest of my team truly helps make up for my lack of star power at RB. Personally, I think it's just a matter of time until Lynch goes off, he's been close a few times against Dallas and Carolina and had a big game against SF last week. Just curious to see what everyone else thinks about Lynch the rest of the way. I also think Demarco Murray should get better as well. Eventually the "genius" will realize he's a downhill runner rather than an outside runner. We'll see.
  5. Yea, he's nuts. He's gonna be one of the greats! He has such a high motor and drive. He can kill you in so many ways. Hard to believe that he's only played in 20 games so far in his career. I debated taking him with my pick in the 2nd round, but I just couldn't pass. I was worried that he may have been a one year wonder, but after looking at his highlights before the draft I realized he was the real deal. I bet he's really fun to throw to for a QB.
  6. So today, I just wasn't feeling Shane Vareen since I have OBJ starting and I usually don't like starting WR\RB combos from the same team (usually) so I dropped Vareen and added Reggie Bush. Bush was going to get a heavy workload today so I figured I could get maybe 10 points out of him since I have my other RBs on bye weeks. Well, sure enough Vareen has a big game and puts up 27 points in our league and Reggie Bush tears his ACL (Vibes! So many injuries this year! Hate it!) and puts up 0.00 points. Well, my team has done so well today that I didn't even need the extra roster spot! OBJ anyone? Talk about a homecoming! I also got huge games from Rivers, Marshall, D. Thomas (still going), and my kicker got 7 points from just extra points! My team is up 166 to 102 (it's a very high scoring league) and I still have Thomas playing right now and G. Olsen playing tomorrow! If I had left Vareen in I would be have 193 points right now. However, I just love when your roster lights it up so well that you still pull off a huge win (playing the team in 2nd place) while not even getting contributions from a RB spot! Hell, Lynch only scored me 10 points, but everyone else really came through! Healing vibes to L. Bell, M. Forte, R. Lockette, S. Shields, C. Matthews, and I know I'm missing some other guys. I just hate seeing injuries (yep, even to guys in my division), especially the season ending injuries. These guys work so hard, and I know they get aid extremely well, but to work so hard all year to get hurt so badly you can't play again until next year, or worse is just devestating to see! Hope every single one of these guys come back even stronger!
  7. Also, with the our league giving 1 pt for every 15 return yards, Landry is a huge upgrade over Jeffrey. Only Hopkins, Julio, and Edelman have outscored Landry
  8. I know. I realized early on that Jeffery was too unrealistic. Our league is very high scoring when it comes to QB points. Most leagues score 1pt for every 25 yards and 4pts for passing TDs. Our league is 1 pt for every 15 yards, 5 point bonus @ 300 yards passing, and passing TDs are 6 points. Having a QB score 45 points isn't unrealistic. Rivers is averaging around 40 points a week, so having Palmer over Wilson is a rather huge upgrade
  9. Are you in a league in which Palmer isn't a great QB? In our league he's 3rd amongst QBs in points scored. Landry is 4th in our league amongst WRs in points scored. Would those not be included as "great?"
  10. I would be giving them the 3rd best QB in the league and a top 10 WR. I did figure asking for Jeffery was too much, but Diggs isn't out of the question. To the person who said Marshall is a downgrade from Jeffery, that's just crazy. Marshall is a legit #1 WR and has been all season. Jeffery has played in one or two games. I would imagine Palmer, Murray, and Marshall/Landry for Bell, Wilson, and Diggs is fair. Honestly, I'd even settle for Palmer/Murray/Landry for Bell/Wilson. I've run Palmer/Murray/Landry/Tate for Wilson/Bell/Diggs through multiple trade evaluators and each one projects that the other team will score at least 50 more points over the ROS. I really don't try screwing people over in trades, so I'm just kind of surprised that this seems so unfair to so many who have responded. I did openly admit that Jeffery was probably too much, but Diggs? I figured it made sense, especially since the other team was struggling so badly at QB.
  11. I don't like it. I love the idea of getting Ingram, but that's too much.
  12. I think McCoy could be poised for a big second half just like Marshawn Lynch. I recently acquired Lynch from a team selling low. If you can get him for cheap you should. I think Brown for McCoy is a fair trade if you've got room to spare at WR. Good luck!
  13. I'm interested in acquiring L. Bell & Alshon Jeffery. I'm prepared to send QB: C. Palmer, RB: D. Murray, WR: J. Landry, and WR: G. Tate in return for QB: R. Wilson, RB: L. Bell, & WR: A. Jeffery. The team I'm offering this trade to needs a major upgrade at QB as they currently have R. Wilson & C. Kaepernick. We're in a 1 pt PPR league in which we also receive 1 pt for every 15 return yards which makes J. Landry much more valuable in our league. I've run this trade through multiple evaluators and it seems to favor the other team by a few points, probably because of the major upgrade they'd be getting at QB. Am I asking for too much with A. Jeffery? This team also has D. Moncrief, S. Diggs, and T. Ginn. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
