  1. The past few years? Up until last year when they lost Wahle and Rivera and tried to replace them with journeyman it was one of the best lines in the league. If they take Ferguson with Hawk on the board, despite the spin they keep spewing about making a quick rebound, they are in rebuilding mode as the strength of that o-line is at the tackles.
  2. I thought he'd reunite with Marvin Lewis in Cinci. Has he rescheduled that visit yet?
  3. The thing I find odd about the Tony Fisher defection is that the Pack didn't even try to sign him. His preference was to return to GB, but the team made no effort to retain him. Now I realize he has his limitations, but he was a realiable player that knew and accepted his role. My understanding is that he signed for the vet minumum and small signing bonus. It's isn't like it would have broken the bank to keep him. Just hard to understand why they wouldn't want a guy like that around.
  4. Sorry if this goes OT, but as much as I am a Favre fan he was NOT considered a "good backup" when he was in Atlanta. He was a young QB with a lot of physical tools who partied too much. From Wikipedia: Had he stayed in Atlanta, he would have partied himself right out of the league in a couple of years. Luckily for Favre and all Packer fans, Wolf took a chance and Holmgren tamed him a little bit. Now he's headed to the HoF. Also, the Packers had a guy named Matt Hasselbeck, who looked promising in preseason games. They traded him for a first rounder rather than lose him as a FA, used that pick on Jamal Reynolds, and the rest is history.
  5. I read an article that said much of the scouting department was attending timing days for draft prospects.
  6. I'm seeing reports of 4.66 and 4.71. I can't find it now, but I think he also had a rediculous vertical jump for a guy nearly 300lbs.
  7. He'll die first...not wishing ill on anyone. I just don't see Al ever selling the Raiders while he's of sound mind umm well at least while he's still breathing.
  8. Um...she'll need a permission slip from Mr. Cruise for that
  9. It would be nice, however, if the NFL would acknowledge that there is a problem with the officiating and do something about it. No more of this "they're only human" and "they do the best they can" bs. Yes, they are human and they will make mistakes, but there has to be a limit to what is acceptable performance. That was supposed to be the best crew in the league and that is a sad sad statement.
  10. http://www.packersnews.com/archives/news/pack_24537332.shtml He sucked during his previous stint in Green Bay. He sucked with the Rams last year. Don't remember him being all that great a coordinator in Washington. And his boss in KC was his dad.
  11. Tough call between Rohm and March, but I chose Rohm
  12. I'm so tempted to get this one http://direct.motorola.com/ENS/Web_Feature...ondaryOption=-1 Cingular only but that is who I have for service now anyway It's the Motorola SLVR L7 if that link won't work

  14. 1. 4th grade science class. Teacher had wheeled in the a/v cart so we could all watch the launch 2. No idea. I was sophmore in HS, so probably heard it through the grapevine before any real news source. 3. On my way to work, which at the time was about 2 miles from the Pentagon. I heard the explosions.
