  1. I would go with Thomas. Baltimore has given up only one TD to a RB all year and Houston is the only team to get 4+ YPC against them. Lacy hasn't shown enough yet to be in the "start regardless of matchup" category...
  2. Yeah, I probably undersold Gates - more of an injury concern than a performance concern. I like Clay better as a backup than Olsen, if you want to keep a backup TE. Morris is supposedly OK healthwise, so I don't know about Helu outside of a handcuff. He will be good if Morris is injured, but they aren't in a timeshare or anything. My preference is to gamble on a backup to an underperforming starter, which is why I like Ellington.
  3. Yeah...in a modified keeper league, took Johnson with the 10th pick (about 20 players were held). That obviously didn't work out. On the plus side, I have Dez Bryant, AJ Green and Josh Gordon at WR...
  4. I am surprised that people here hold such a high opinion of McGahee! Fred Jackson has pretty much worked himself into a committee with Spiller. Outside of one long run he broke, Spiller had 12 yards on 7 carries last week. Both Spiller and Andre Johnson have been fighting injuries. McGahee is getting carries, but is averaging 2.6 ypc and at his age is a serious injury risk. If you can get AP for these three, you do it.
  5. Unless he has a lot of confidence that SJax is going to be great coming off his injury, I doubt you can get Rogers for that deal.
  6. If he agrees to this, get it finalized ASAP. Bryant and Thomas are pretty close to a wash, and you would be making out like a bandit on Bush for Gonzalez. I would be surprised if he would make the deal, though. Gonzalez is coming off two huge weeks, but he will be getting extra defensive attention now that he is the primary target for Ryan. Also, if he keeps getting the number of targets he is at his age, he will be injured within 3 weeks...
  7. Doesn't work that way - this is similar to those annoying owners who think offering two good players whose combined season scoring is slightly more than the elite player they want is a fair deal. The elite player takes up only one starting slot, while the good players take up two. That being said, I think they have Martin underranked and would agree that Lynch for Martin and Cobb is a good deal with the way your team is structured. Cobb would become your best WR (due to Fitz's QB woes) and the drop from Lynch to Martin isn't that huge.
  8. If this guy trades Forte for a WR, he should have his FFL privileges revoked - he has nothing else at RB. From the first offer he made to you, he is trying to get a reliable second RB and is willing to give up one of his two top tier receivers to get it. If he is willing to trade Forte, post back with what the deal would be. As far as Thomas, you'd have to ask yourself whether you were hurting yourself more at RB that helping yourself at WR.
  9. I would do it, especially if you can somehow get Ben Tate too. Your RB depth will take a hit, but you are pretty well handcuffed with quality backups in case of injury. Since the first game, Bolden has been JAG his year,. The deal comes down to a gamble on Rice - if he rebounds big time in the second half, maybe you are giving up a tiny bit too much, but if he doesn't you are making out like a bandit.
  10. In a 10 team league, your RBs are very good, although I would want Kendall Hunter on my bench if I were depending on Gore. TE is your weakest position, but I don't know if it is worth sacrificing your QB depth to improve that. You have two low end QB1/high end QB2s on your roster, but I would wait and see how the injury to Julio Jones impacts Ryan before considering moving either of them. Also, unless someone has 2 top five QBs on their roster, you aren't likely to be able to improve your QB position without moving one of your starting WR or RB. Keep an eye on Andre Ellington in Arizona if he is available, and if you can swap out Greg Olsen for Garrett Graham at backup TE, you might want to consider it.
  11. Hey all, Would like some thoughts on which of my unappetizing choices I should start at RB2. League gives 1 pt per 10 yards rushing or receiving with 5 point bonuses at 100 and 150, and 6 points for a rushing or receiving TD. Right now I am leaning toward McGahee. McGahee - Obviously don't like the 2.6 ypc, but everyone has been able to run on Detroit this year, Cleveland is at home, he has improved each week since signing, and he gets most of the carries. Chris Johnson - Again, don't like the 3.1 ypc. Seattle has been tough against RBs at home. Hasn't been getting goal line carries. Only positive is that they are now trying to get him involved in the passing game in space, LeVeon Bell - great debut 2 weeks ago, coming off bye, have high hopes for him in the second half of the season. This week he is on the road against the Jets, which has been a graveyard for RBs this year. Joique Bell - Hasn't gotten many touches the past two weeks, If Bush is healthy he is a flex at best. Zac Stacy - Need to see him play against someone other than Jacksonville first. Also, not sure how the split will go with the other StL RBs. Andre Ellington - Arizona coaches too afraid to give him the majority of RB touches because of his size, despite the fact that he has been the best RB on the team by a long shot. If he could get 20 touches a game, he would be the choice. What do you Huddlers think (other than explore a trade for a better RB2!!!)
  12. DMD, half of free agent forecast is about jumping on bandwagons! (the other half is foresightful moves based on less obvious trends). And that doesn't explain not listing Hartline...
  13. And where is Brian Hartline??? He is owned in less than 35% of ESPN Leagues and has a history as a pretty good slot for Miami.
  14. Yeah, I agree it was more likely than not an aberration, but so are many of the players that end up on FFF. Just seems strange that he didn't even merit an "on the radar" mention...
  15. Ummm...did Casale do Free Agent Forecast before the Monday Night games??? Would have at least expected Hankerson to get a mention...
