  1. You're probably already done drafting, but my vote would have been Gibbs (especially now that Zeke is in NE!). I have always hated drafting Pats RB's. At the first sign of issues, Belichick will pull them for whoever is next in line, and with Bill O'Brien recently saying how impressed he was with Zeke and he can see him as a 3-down back..... That only says to me that they are sending a message to Stevenson saying, the job is yours, but you screw up once, Zeke is going in. Belichick has proven time and time again he will pull RB's, so unless CMC is playing for the Pats, I'm avoiding a Pats RB if I can. Plus, I see more upside with Gibbs!
  2. With JT's pseudo hold-in, and what many are saying are fake lingering injuries, he is starting to drop in many of the mock drafts. Who knows how much longer he is going to hold out, but at some point, he will return, and when he does, he is still JT and he's still going to be a phenomenal talent. So far, the furthest I've seen him drop was to the third round. At what point does his potential value outweigh the risk of drafting him. Is it 3rd round, 4th, further?? Personally, if he makes it to me in the 4th, I'm taking him, otherwise, I'm staying away..
  3. These are 12 team leagues, and my normal strategy is to take a QB late, but testing the theory on taking it early. I'm asking about this as it's been over a decade since I thought about taking a qb this early
  4. Evaluating for fantasy stats. Have the 2nd overall pick in a couple PPR drafts so far (which is weird it worked out that way), and looking at either one of them in the end of 2 or early 3 as a potential strategy. I normally wait at QB, but considering going big early with one of them, and if I'm going to pull that trigger, I'm just trying to make the best decision. I have several weeks before either draft, but studying this scenario now.
  5. Can someone help me understand why the experts still have Mahomes ranked ahead of Allen for this season. Granted, I do NOT question Mahomes superman/ superhuman like capabilities. Mahomes has Kelce. Allen has Diggs. Beyond that, I put the Buffalo WR's & RB's ahead of all other pass catchers (RB&WR's) for KC. And Allen has a much more favorability in Buffalo's overall strength of schedule for the year, the first 6 games, and in the playoffs. Combine that with Allen's ability to run more so than Patrick and I think he has better weapons. I have trouble projecting Mahomes over Allen, but I'm very stat driven, so I would love to hear everyone else thoughts?
  6. Yes, JT is my #1, and I also have Hines as his backup.
  7. Honestly what I'm afraid of as I had Lamar last season. The other problem is that I'm 0-3, so I could use the spark now.
  8. Hi All, Want to get everyone's thoughts on this trade... Lamar Jackson & James Conner for Chubb and Prescott. I have Chubb and Prescott now. Obviously Prescott is out until at least week 5. Chubb and Taylor are my current starting RB's. My current back up QB's are Mariota or Goff The guy I'm working a trade with has BOTH Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson!! 🤯 He took them back to back in rounds 3&4, but we only start 1 QB, so Jackson is wasting away on his bench. He also has King Henry, Conner and Patterson as his only RBs. This would be a massive upgrade for me at QB, and would allow me to choose between Connor or AJ Dillon each week as my #2. This helps him significantly at RB, and still gets a good backup QB for when Allen is on Bye or if he gets hurt. Or he could use him as trade bait later in the year if he comes back strong. Standard scoring 1pt PPR league. Appreciate the thoughts. Is this a fair offer? too one sided??
  9. Yes, I'm asking about which scrub to start.... I have Dak as my normal starter, but picked up both Mariota and Goff when Dak got hurt. Go figure that I started Mariota over Goff last week, so now I'm struggling this week. I'm leaning Mariota just because of his ability to get some rushing yardage, but not sure, and don't think Goff will put up a 4TD game again against the Vikings at an away game. Standard QB scoring
  10. Thanks for the feedback!!! Drafting in an hour, and pretty much decided that if #1 doesn't take CMC, I will take him overall all others. There's just too much upside and when he's been in the game, he's averaging 25+ points a game. If I do get CMC, I will probably go a little heavier on other RB's sooner in terms of a strategy later in the draft purely to protect my flank! Appreciate all the input, and hope everyone kills it on their drafts!!!
  11. Just started a similar topic but debating between CMC and Ekeler..... I've been leaning towards CMC personally, but I also want to hear the arguments for and against both runners. It feels like Ekeler is sneaking up a spot or two in most rankings while CMC is slipping a spot or two, and cannot figure out why.
  12. As I've been getting ready for my first draft, I have the #2 spot, and while I hope the guy picking number 1 takes someone else, I'm trying to plan the season without getting JT. That said, I've seen different rankings where CMC has started to slip in the consensus #2 pick to #3 or #4 in PPR leagues. I even saw one ranking putting him behind King Henry, which makes zero sense to me in a 1pt PPR league. How is everyone else feeling about him this season over Ekeler? The ding on CMC is he's injury prone, but the same is true for Ekeler, so not sure how he gets the nod in some cases over CMC. Even the RB strength of schedule seems to be even between the two. I'd love to hear everyones thoughts/debate between CMC & Ekeler
  13. YES, YES, AND YES! Don't think, take JT and pass Go, collect $200 and more bonues. Otherwise, go directly to Jail!
  14. I never mind a QB to any of the other skill positions combination as theres always a chance for you to double up on points. I do however try and avoid two skill position players in either RB, WR, or TE positions as then they are fighting for touches
