  1. Just looking to see what others thoughts are on some of the top RB's.. and I know this is a good problem to have... I have the 3rd pick and I have been debating on who to take.... from what I can tell based on the first 2 teams drafting tendencies I should have the choice of Forte, McCoy or AP. Forte - basically same team coming back as last year... really no competition and will be on field for all plays and in red zone, heavily involved in passing game (PPR league), Marshall and Jeffery help open up running and passing game. I see little downside with Forte this year... McCoy - Great o-line, some changes with offense (loss of Jackson, Maclin hurt, Cooper not proven), Foles had a great year but can he do it again... and most of all Sproles "could" take away some carries and catches and be used on some 3rd down plays. I have some concerns with McCoy this year being able to maintain from last year... AP - Rookie QB (maybe), weak team around him, but that is nothing new for AP. Not really involved in passing game. But with all that said he still has huge potential for yards... As I review all 3 of these RB's I feel that Forte has the most upside and best chance to at least maintain or improve on last year. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? ----------------------- League: 12 team re-draft, PPR, 6pt TD's, bonus for 100 yards and long TD's, QB, 2RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE Flex
  2. I think the more I look at this the more I agree on taking McCoy in first... I do like the high point potential with getting 1 of the top 3 QB's... but overall just a more balanced and stronger team taking McCoy and picking up a very good QB with lots of potential in later rounds.
  3. Yes... Andre is Andrew's cousin who I expect to have a huge impact this year... sorry for typos... was on phone and had several mistakes it seems..
  4. I have completed several mock drafts and 2 variations are listed below... they are based on either going RB (McCoy) vs. Brees (QB) as my 1st selection at #3 pick. Just looking for some comments and/or feedback on the what tell you would feel more comfortable with. League: 12 team re-draft, PPR, 6pt TD's, bonus for yardard and long TD's... (tends to favor QB's). QB, 2RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE Flex #3 Pick in Draft. In all league mocks Peyton and JC are gone at 1 and 2 slots... Team 1: QB: Drew Brees Rd 1 WR: Brandon. Marshall Rd .2 RB: Zac Stacy Rd. 3 RB: Bishop Sankey Rd. 4 WR/TE: Pierre Garcon Rd. 5 WR: Marques Colston Rd. 6 Team 2: RB: McCoy Rd. 1 WR: Jordy Nelson Rd. 2 WR: Ashlon Jeffery Rd. 3 RB: Frank Gore Rd. 4 QB: Colin Kaepernick or Andrew Luck (both were options) Rd. 5 WR: T.Y. Hilton Rd. 6
  5. Thanks for the response.. and you raised some good points about comparing the drop off of QB's vs RB's I can select. In a quick look there is certainly a larger drop off in pts in the quality of RB's I can select at 1,2,3 vs. 8,9,10... then some decent quality QB's at later rounds Some info on league.. 12 teams 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, DST, K PPR (1pt per 10 yds, 3pt bonus for 100+), 6pt TD's, QB's (1 pt per 25 yards, 3pt bonus over 400 and 500), -2ints, Bonus for big Play TD (2 pts over 50, 4pts 60-75..etc), RB (1pt per 10yds, 3pt bonus at 100) Bonus for big play TD's... My pick is #3.... draft tendencies tend to be top 2-3 QB's are gone quickly then typically top RB and WR's.
  6. Question... everywhere I read that RB's must be take in 1st round with early picks and I understand why... but in our league QB's are always at the top in pts.... for example last year: Peyton (527), Brees (438) and JC (366) and McCoy (345).. so the top QB's outscored the top RB's but at least 100 pts. If you had one of the top 3 picks... would it be crazy to pick Peyton or Bree's over some of the stud RB's? I know their is a high number of good QB's available who can fill the role and less stud RB's to pick from after rd 1... .but doesn't it come down to who scores the most pts each week? If you have a PM/Brees getting 30 pts per week would that be better? Just curious what others thoughts are on this.? League is a PPR with 6pts TD's... Thanks
