  1. Martin has put up great numbers on 2 solid run defenses. He's in a contract year, and is in the best shape his teammates have seen him in. What's a guy got to do to win your trust? The only issue I have with martin is the touches he loses when the Bucs fall behind, but it seems the coaching staff is learning to feed him the ball regardless, and the receptions he's had the last 2 weeks is promising. Trades are subjective, but Hilton for martin + Matthews is a steal IMO.
  2. Standard scoring, non-ppr. Crowell on the road against a strong buffalo defense has me worried. Hopkins is expected to lineup across from wreh-Wilson, who according to pro football focus is the third worst cornerback in the league. Of course Tennessee is just plain bad against the run, and Houston may not need to throw it at all. Thoughts?
  3. He hasn't played a lick of football, including missing the preseason, so he'll likely be eased in. He's worth a stash if you have room (I added him in 2 leagues). He's eventually going to be the passing down back on a bad team who should throw a lot. There's plenty of upside.
  4. Gronk. There's huge upside if he stays hea!thy. He's getting better every week.
  5. Losing your pro bowl center is hard to recover from.
  6. I would need to see what happens when Ball is healthy. Too risky for me to pull the trigger.
  7. Yes every day and twice on Sunday. Hilton is good but leveon gets work few backs in the league get. If you can sell it with Sanu thgatrs icing. AJ is coming back. I'd keep garcon, he'll score a lot more with RG3 under center.
  8. Ball hasn't been given a chance to run behind this line yet. They made changes before the 49ers game and the blocking is much improved. I'd say more of a committee but ball will have every chance to win his job back. Manning and Fox do seem to like Montee Ball much more than his fantasy owners.
  9. One of these weeks he's either going to get hurt again, or lose his job to Cromwell/West. I have a desperate owner with Chris Johnson and Peyton hillis starting this week. I could sell him on Tate for Larry Donnell (I need a TE and Ertz is too inconsistent), but the upcoming game vs Tampa could be my last chance I could try and swing a deal for Emmanuel sanders, but I have demaryius Thomas, ty Hilton, and deandre Hopkins (sitting on crabtree if he ever gets going) so its not a need.
  10. Bridgewater might not be a bad play going against the skins on a short week following an emotional win.
  11. It has been my experience running a keeper league for 4 years that many owners will veto any trade that does not benefit their team. I removed the veto voting crap after the first season, when all of 1 trade went through. In reality, you won't know if this trade worked out until the end of the season. In my league, all trades go through me. I will not veto anything unless it is obvious collusion. A kicker for a starting skill position etc. After 3 years I have vetoed 0 trades.
  12. You're right, I was embellishing a bit. To be fair, Martin is a very talented runner. If he loses significant playing time it will be because of his pass protection. http://www.bucsnation.com/2014/9/11/6136239/doug-martin-benched-for-pass-protection-looked-stiff I'm not sure how true it is, but the game tape does not lie. Poor pass protection has been the kiss of death for many a talented runner. One things for sure, Lovie has always been tricksy in his media relations.
  13. Its very likely may already be Rainey's job. Martin practiced with the first team but his reps were limited. Doug Martin is a poor blocker, and the coaching staff and front office have no ties to him. He has only played well his rookie year, and his numbers were skewed by a few huge games.
  14. Man, with 18 teams you're going to want solid, safe consistent guys. If they don't work out, there's going to be no replacements out there.
  15. I've been leaning toward Thomas and ball. AJ is just hard to let go of. Now if I can just move him for a Pick, I'd be happy.
