  1. I will preface my advice by saying, I don't do auction leagues. But that seems a little steep for Ball. I think you are getting much better value with any of the other players you have listed. I would say to keep Allen for sure. After that I am less help. Is $19 for RGIII a good value? and do you think there will be better QB's available? Or do most keep one? I do think RGIII will bounce back this year and be much more like he was his rookie year now that the knee is 1 year out from the injury and they have more weapons for him. I would also keep Spiller over Jennings for the values you listed. That is my two cents. I wouldn't have normally chimed into this one but since you didn't have any other responses I was hoping to get the ball rolling for you. Good luck.
  2. Yes, you could start 5 Wr or 5 Rb if you wanted to. There is a team that starts 5 Wr and only had one Rb on his roster by the end of the season last year. Because you can get more production out of mid level Wr (this is a PPR league) there are more Wr started than Rbs. I would say it is close to 2/3 of the 60 starting flex spots are WR in this league. So are there Rb available, sure, but none are your stud workhorse type guys. They are all committee type backs or change of pace guys. Remember because we keep 5 guys each the first round is more like guys you would find in the 6th round of most fantasy drafts (with a few gems tossed in). Thanks for the input. Right now I am thinking, because I really need the help for this year I would take Vincent Jackson if he were there but I'm guessing he'll go to the team with the first pick, and then I will most likely take Patterson and hope that with my late second and early third round picks I can land a good tight end and another flex guy with some good upside (I'm sure Watkins will be gone but maybe Evans, Benjamin, or Cooks). Anyone else want to chime in today I'll check this a few more times but our draft is tonight at 9:00. Wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks.
  3. I don't know if either will crack your starting line-up at all. One thing I would check is does Maclin play Dallas (don't hate on me, I am actually a Cowboys fan, but they are going to have an awful defense this year) on either of your WR bye weeks? Something to think about.
  4. Can you read what your other teams in the league might be doing? Are many others keeping QBs? This might help you make up your mind. But that is a tough decision because both are elite and will be so for many years. Were do you draft in the re-draft and will others keep QB's ahead of you? This might make you know if you can toss Rodgers back out there or not. Hope that helps some at least.
  5. Well, I like to start think the other way, who are you going to keep for sure. So you can leave Hyde, Hill, Martin, and Ball alone for sure. Now out of the remaining 7 you need to cut the 5. After that I would only keep one of Johnson and Jackson, both are getting long in the tooth for a dynasty league but they also will give you great value this year. Then I would go with Brown. To me he will not do much this year but it seams like Buffalo had a plan in getting him. Good luck.
  6. Thanks a ton for the advice. I love Thomas for sure. The only thing with him is that, yes he is the top TE availible, but only two teams kept TE, so there are plenty to chose from and I could get a really good one in the second round of the re-draft such as possibliy Cameron or Davis (who I had last year). Draft is tomorrow and I am not sure what I am going to do...might be a long night. Anyone else's thoughts?
  7. If Ryan bounces back (should be easy to do if Julio stays healthy) this will be a very good team. You have to love your RB's for sure. Well done. I give it an A.
  8. I agree with the others. I would for sure take that trade. You don't know for sure what you will get out of Harvin but you could say that same with Garcon since the skin's added Jackson. Being that with your other WR Garcon is more of your flex, i would say Harvin can fill that role easily. Plus Bell in an upgrade from Bradshaw. Manziel will mostly likely mean very little for you, but you never know. But I would say this is a for sure thing for you.
  9. I agree with everyone else. I for sure think you should get more for Bell. How many team are in your league. In a 10-12 team league bell is a sure RB1.
  10. What is your league scoring and starting roster like? Assuming there are more or less standard I would still go with AJ. I think you have to go with elite talent when you can get it in fantasy football especially when you are talking about a keeper league. But I see your point about Morris too. Is it a PPR league?
  11. That is what I assumed (you know what they say when you do that though). Another thing to keep in mind is what you think other teams will do. If most highly covet RB then you might want to go with Stacey, other wise like I said above I would most likely go with Cobb or Nelson. Good luck.
  12. This sia very close call. I guess if I were you, I'd go with Dez. But as I said this is close enough to be a coin toss. Good luck.
  13. Does the round your drafted them in matter or are they like your first two picks? Cause that would change this discussion for sure. In your league I would for sure keep Brees. After that I would rank them Cobb, Nelson, Stacey, Foster, Gronk. Hope this helps and good luck.
  14. I would say Bell for sure. In a 14 team league bell is a RB1 were I would argue that Ellington is a RB2. True Bell will cost you a higher round but he also has a higher value. I don't think you will regret keeping him for a 5th rounder.
