  1. I agree with the above on the WRs; Maclin, Dez, Evans. Though, I don't think ODB is a bad pick I just like Evans over him. The RB is a toss up for me. None of them have great match ups go with whom you believe will get the most touches.
  2. Though MIA has a tough def, I would start CJ Anderson. The Broncos have a high powered offense that can put up points against anyone and he has no competition in the backfield this week. He was heavily featured in the passing game the last two weeks and could easily see some 15-25 total touches. I don't think Matthews is a bad pick necessarily, but I find more value in Anderson. Also, TEN is ranked 30th (or worse) against RBs so McCoy should be featured in that game which could lead to less passing (TEN secondary is ranked 11th).
  3. Bumping this for any additional feedback. Also, Asiati is out and it was said that Ben Tate may only see a few snaps while he gets use to the Viking's system. This bodes well for him getting a serious workload but it still concerns me a bit that the run game could be abandoned early if (good chance) the Packers get a big lead early. If this is the case, he should have a higher ceiling than Sjax, at least.
  4. Need a RB and a flex, so any two will do. Jerrick McKinnion Tre Mason Stephen Jackson Steve Smith The three RBs all have similar match ups this week, opponents ranked 16,17, and 19 against the position in scoring. SJax doesn't get a ton of carries but he's nearly a lock for 10-15 and a few goal line carries if ATL is in a short yard situation. But, he is extremely inconsistent. Mason just came off a 29 carry game and if he gets those kind of touches again he should have a great game. McKinnion loses goal line carries to Asiati and the Vikings aren't a very good team and have a good chance to fall behind big to Green Bay early and abandon the run. Steve Smith is old and his QB is Flacid Flacco but he has a decent match up vs the Saints. I really dislike the Ravens and I don't think Flacco is that great a QB but I think he may be the best flex option. I'm leaning towards Mason and Smith. Any input is appreciated.
  5. For me, it's Marshall or Anderson. The Bears have really struggled doing anything lately but Marshall is a big part of their offense and can put up points. Anderson is interesting. If he gets the Ronnie Hillman workload with 15-20 touches/working in the passing game/goal line carries, he's my top option. Problem is, we don't know that he is going to get all that. If you think Anderson will be the featured back, I say play him. Manning's offense is so potent there will be a lot of opportunities for him to rack up the points. Not to mention garbage time carries when Broncos inevitably have a huge lead vs a less than stellar St. Louis team. If you don't think he will be the featured back, play Marshall.
  6. Though they all may be put up bad numbers this week I think you're right in picking Sankey and holding your nose. If you have to make a pick out of equally crappy options, take the pick with the most opportunities. That's certainly going to be Sankey (as far as we can tell anyway).
  7. Close to a coin toss for me. Rainey is likely to get more touches but Sproles knows how to do more with less. I think it should come down to which you think is more likely: Sproles making a big play on one of his 5 touches Or Rainey getting decent yardage and maybe a TD on his 10-15 possible touches. Don't forget Sims is in the mix now too. Taking those two into account, for me, it's tough to pick. The reason I would pick Rainey though is because the Bucs are bad, really bad, and they are playing on the road. There is a great chance for the Bucs to be down a couple of TDs in this game. If you've watched Tampa play at all this year, you'll have noticed that when they get down big they play a lot of short to intermediate routes to Rainey during catch up/garbage time. Two of the three times I played Rainey this year I picked up 3.5-5 points in the fourth quater alone from these plays. The defense is focusing on not giving up touchdowns so they cover long and allow for those 8-15 yard plays to go off and Rainey eats it up. This occurred last season as well.
  8. Colb? Do you mean Cobb? Randall Cobb? If so, he is my top option. Packers play one of the worst secondaries in the league and the Eagles know how to put points on the board which could help towards passing the ball. Green is my lowest option. I like Ellington but Detroit's D should limit him a bit. He should still see a good workload+goal line carries+ work in the passing game, but it could be one of those 18 carries for 42 yards and a TD type of game. Nothing huge like Cobb could pull off. Blue is close to Ellington for me. A decent match up on a team that loves to run so he should be a good play. It's just that Cobb just has a great match up and a stellar QB to boot.
  9. Can't see how you could go wrong with either one. Brady statistically has a better match up than Luck and NE corners are good. But, Luck is the top scoring QB in fantasy land and the game is in Indi.. In a standard league he has scored 33% more than Brady. That's a pretty decent margin. Home field + scoring 33% more points than Brady makes me lean towards Luck.
  10. Adams is on the bottom of that list for me and Sankey is probably my top. Sankey has been getting a lot of touches and Greene got pulled after a fumble last week. He should be a decent play over the rest of these guys Stewart plays for a team with a horrible offensive line and has DeAngelo Williams to compete with. But, he has a great match up this week. Riddick is interesting IF and ONLY IF he's used in the passing game like he was a few weeks ago against Atlanta. Otherwise, he's down there with Adams. Perhaps after his game winning touchdown last week he will see more action but I don't know that I could risk it. Rivera plays for a terrible team and was practically invisible on the stat sheet until week 8. The Chargers shut him out a few weeks ago when they played (other he had a single catch for 12 yards or something awful). Tough to say one way or the other for me but if his usage remains the same he's a good option in PPR. Just like Riddick though, it's all about big IFs. Baldwin is the top option on a team that likes to run with Lynch or Wilson. And they attempted the second or third few passes in the league this season. Play with caution.
  11. They're are all decent choices this week. I'd probably pick Blue but I'd be second guessing myself until kickoff. The Patriots play the Colts which by all accounts is predicted to be a high scoring game. LaFell has competition for targets in Edelman and Gronk, though. Beckham looks like the top option in NY but...it's the Giants offense. He's likely to do decent but I think LaFell has a higher ceiling between the 2 wideouts. Blue plays on a team that loves to run the ball. He's easily the best option if he gets a similar workload to Foster. A similar workload would offer the highest floor/ceiling of the three.
  12. I should say that Blue isn't a bad option, I just really like Morris and Ellington a lot more.
  13. Definitely not Stewart. The Panthers offensive line is horrible. That isn't to say he may not get 8-12 points in a standard scoring system this week but that is his ceiling and his floor is rather low. Blue has a decent match up and is playing on a team that has three plays: Run Screen pass to Foster/Blue Run some more Blue is my top option here. I don't think you could go wrong with Sanu either but Blue appears to me as the slightly better option this week with a higher floor/ceiling. There's been 20 different 'who should I play this week' in the last couple of hours you could scroll through with Blue being the most popular player in question. You may find information there helpful.
  14. I'd keep Hillman and drop Colts D or Tannehill. Is there something I am missing as to why you'd need either one?
  15. Seems like a tough decision. Though I hate New England backs since they never play a damn one consistently, I really like Vereen this week. No team has given up more passing yards to RBs than Indi. McKinnion isn't a bad option but the ceiling is low because Minn uses Asiati for their goal line carries. West is on par with McKinnion as Cleveland may repeat their 3-headed monster approach and is also known to go with the hot hand. So, if Tate or Crowell starts playing well West may take a back seat. Sanu has a good match up and I believe he will be a more consistent option than McKinnion or West. Thus, Vereen and Sanu are my picks.
