  1. 1 QB: RG3, Eli, or Flacco? pick 4 of 5 WR: S3, Torrey Smith, Roddy White, Demaryius Thomas, Brandon LaFell
  2. I also have eli and manziel, as well as flacco. I'm so done with eli, he is just to inconsistent. On the other hand, its a divisional game and he usually plays well against the Redskins. Flacco is average as well except for the one game where he threw 5 TDs. They are all projected to have around the same amount of points, but i think Manziel's ceiling is higher. So I am leaning towards Manziel as well. It is just a bold move to play, especially since I am in the semi-finals..
  3. who messes around with their lineup like this?? I don't get it.. what's the point? Looks like the other guy won that mind game lol
  4. They schedule the 6 divisional games, 4 inter conference in same division games, and 4 games with a different division in the same conference, they are left with 2 games. These last 2 inter conference games are based on last years standings (1st place vs 1st place, 2nd place vs 2nd place, etc) That is why they play each other every year. Not sure how the home and away works for these 2 games other then each team needs 8 games home and 8 away obviously. Basically these last 2 games create ratings and money. Hope this shines some light.
  5. I have never believed in any of the run first, pass second QBs. (Kaperpick, Michael Pick, SuperPick, and RPick3) They couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a throw, they can't read a cover 2 like they have never played Madden before, and they run so much they are bound to get hurt in this league.
  6. Drafting Lynch in the first round and D. Thomas in the second round have lived up their hype and more. Probably the best 1,2 picks in my 12 team league. Also, I picked up S3 on waivers the first week. I had a feeling about him, but I didn't know he would be this good.
  7. I have always been a fan of Phillip Rivers. I can't say that for all Chargers fan though. Our main complaint a few years ago was with Norv Turner and AJ Smith. Everyone in San Diego wanted them out. Besides, prior to Rivers having non-elite seasons, he did have elite seasons unlike Cutler. Rivers is a leader as well, which goes back to the first replies of this post.
  8. Anyway you slice it, his numbers are marginal and have been since his days in Denver. Like previously stated, there are only a few elite QBs, but mediocre QBs can win super bowls too. Here's my question though, when do you cut the cord? They can find another mediocre QB so at least try to find the next elite QB. He's had his chances with good offensive players and a good defense. Time for CHI to turn the page IMO.
  9. In my opinion, if I used a high round draft pick on someone and they are not producing whether it be due to poor performance or injury, I would consider them a bust as far as fantasy is concerned. Using your example, if i drafted Peyton Manning, and he got injured in week 2 and was out the rest of the season, I would consider that a bust. If it were a keeper league, maybe not so much..
  10. A good leader requires many attributes. One of the most important attributes is to lead by example. Jay Cutler is just a mediocre QB with mediocre skills. Therefore, he will never be a good leader or good QB. Didn't we all know this 6 years ago in Denver? I don't know how he has been a QB for so long..
  11. The fantasy reports I have read have said that Brown is the back to own. But in my opinion, you might as well flip a coin.
  12. Well, JAX answered that question. OAK still winless though with a brutal schedule..
  13. Yea its tough to say. JAX has the softer schedule but it looks like OAK is the better team after the strong showing against SD. I do think they both found their franchise QBs and have someone they can build around. I do agree in that they are both bound to win a game. I will say JAX wins first for no apparent reason.
  14. Not really fantasy football related and I didn't see a forum for just football talk in general, but who do you think will get a W first, Oakland or Jacksonville? Do you think either of them could go 0-16?
