  1. Here's the thing though, New Ordleans is ATROCIOUS against the run... So Forte was able to put up modest numbers (78 yards on the ground, the bulk of which came in junk time). Detroit is a whole other story- Forte had a whopping 6 yards on the ground (52 via air). Last week has NOTHING to do with this week. I expect Randle to get 70% of the carries and all of the goal line work. Foster won't get 100 yards this week (which is fine)... Baltimore has the best run defense in the league and are missing a whole bunch of defensive backs. Houston has no choice but to throw the ball. Clausen is 1-9 in the NFL. Trestman doesn't do screen passes. Even if he does, I see 2 screen passes getting picked off (I expect at least 5 INTs total). Bears are the new Jaguars. ...These are just points to keep in mind. Consider this me playing the devil's advocate. Really appreciate everybody's input here!!!!! @Jde6800: You have nice options. I'd definitely start Ingram, of the other 3 I'd probably trust Bell over Forte, but Fred Jackson (even given the awesome matchup) I'm just not too sure on. Hard to trust Buffalo offensively, ya know?
  2. I am starting the Eagles Defense over the Lions Defense... Is that nuts?
  3. I am benching Gordon, but I have Kelvin Benjamin to take his place. Tough life, eh? Hehe
  4. So let's assume that DeMarco Murray is officially ruled OUT this week. I currently have Arian Foster and Matt Forte slotted to start at RB, and Kelvin Benjamin at flex (my starting WRs are set in stone: Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr, Jeremy Maclin). I have Joseph Randle on my bench. Given the mess that is the Chicago Bears and Forte's lame performance against the Lions on Thanksgiving, if DeMarco doesn't suit up (if he even dresses, I am planning on leaving my starting squad as is) I am considering pulling Matt Forte for Joseph Randle. Dallas' offensive line, IMHO, are the main reason that DeMarco has been so successful this season. I see HUGE numbers for anyone in that slot, much like Kniles Davis' success for Kansas City. Question is, would this move be stupid? Am I better leaving things as is? Should I pull Kelvin Benjamin instead? Arian Foster instead (Baltimore has the top run defense right now and Case Keenum will be starting at QB, leaving the defense to stack the box)? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, choices choices! It's the Championship game, I don't wanna do anything stupid. :-/
  5. Scratch Terrance West at flex... Jeremy Hill is starting. Play him at flex. On a side note, where are people getting this idea that Jordan Reed is a safe bet? He had 1 week where he had 123 yards and one week of 92 yards. Other than that he averages like 30-something yards per game he's actually active for. He's also has NEVER scored a TD this season. Believing in him is like believing in Zach Ertz and he really shouldn't be on anybody's roster.
  6. I agree with you completely on both Murray as your RB2 and Kelce at TE. My main concern with your projected starting lineup is Jordan Reed. I've had him on my squad for the majority of the season until a couple of weeks ago, when I just gave up. He, in my opinion, is one of the 5 biggest disappointments this season in fantasy football. Washington is a joke and while Reed has talent, he doesn't always get the ball. Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen are in the mix too much, plus DeSean Jackson will be back this week. Sure, there's a 5% chance that Reed has a BIG game, but there's a 95% chance that he is a COMPLETE dud. It seems like you don't have a lot of STELLAR options, but of what you have, I'd go with Terrance West. His ceiling isn't as high as Moncrief's, but he's the most likely to give you some decent production.
  7. I'm leaning towards sitting Kelvin Benjamin, but I have a lot of good alternatives and it's definitely a tough choice. I can only play 4 (I'm gonna devote my flex spot to a WR) of these 5: Antonio Brown (given), Odell Beckham Jr. (given), Josh Gordon, Jeremy Maclin, and Kelvin Benjamin. If Cam was playing I'd sit Maclin (Sanchez is AWFUL and Dallas has the 7th ranked pass defense), but given the situation I am doubting that move...
  8. You shouldn't have wasted the 5 minutes or whatever to post this question... YES!!!!!!!!
  9. I am definitely starting Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr, but to fill my WR3 and Flex slots I'm going nuts deciding between Josh Gordon (with Manziel at QB, against CIN's 2nd ranked pass defense), Jeremy Maclin (with dirty Sanchez at QB, against Dallas' 7th ranked pass defense), and Kelvin Benjamin (with Derek Anderson at QB, against Tampa Bay's 28th ranked pass defense). I gotta pick 2, any ideas???
  10. Whomever proposed this trade to you shouldn't be allowed to play fantasy football... In fact I am amazed that they are capable of feeding themselves. That proposal is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Maclin over D-Jax, and you shouldn't even have to consider this. Last night was a blowout and Maclin just wasn't a necessary tool. That being said, IT'S ONE WEEK!!! Simmer down man... There's too many options in Washington, particularly with Reed coming back. Maclin is the guy in Philly, end of story.
  12. That's a hefty price... As a current Brees owner, I gotta say I've been kinda disappointed with his production thus far (I drafted him in the 2nd round... Pretty early for a QB). That being said, I think the trade is reasonable if Brees suddenly decides that it's okay throwing more than TDs in a game at some point in the near future, ha!
  13. If anyone in your league is stupid enough to trade away Matt Forte for Julius Thomas, GO ROB THEM BLIND!!!! Stop hesitating, stop asking, and pray that everyone else in your league is too foolish to veto that insanity!!!
  14. ^ Sarcasm, I assume? ^ Cruz and Quick.
