I agree this is a very boring game. With that said, I have noticed over the last few years that the majority of games broadcasted on the NFL Network tend to be. Maybe I am nuts but I am convinced it has to do with how they balance the audio. They seem to mute the crowd noise way too much, which takes a little intensity out of viewing. To make matters worse, the silence in crowd noise emphasizes the terrible announcers they have.

My initial reaction was probably like most of yours. That being that Iran (or at least those that dictate and enforce historic laws of Islam) is backwards and this is just another example of how f’d up the Middle East is. And I believe that to be true for the most part. However, as I get older, I am starting to realize the hypocrisy and sugar coating we do in this country. I mean we Electrocute people to death for Christ’s sake (and often in his name). Or we kill people in a “humane” way by Lethal Injection. Why? To make us feel a little better about killing someone? We sugar coat everything in America, yet we basically do the same sht as everyone else. The PR machine has convinced most of us that our way is the right way and the only way. I love this country but maybe we should worry about our own problems and not some chick whose head is about to be pummeled by some crazy religious freaks in the desert. I should note that I dated a "Persian" when I lived in Germany. She was beautiful. She smelled like sh*t but she really was hot. True, but completely irrelevant, story.

I rarely post here but have been checking this thread daily as I believe along the lines of Brent. Most of my retirement is now in cash and I am content with a 0% increase over the next couple years. With that said….. Brent, I think the response you get from people has more to do with how you come across, as opposed to your message itself. Intentional or not, you come across as arrogant and almost belittling. While I agree with you, the fact is, it’s your opinion. And trying to lecture an opinion to grown men (and women) will never go over well. Even when you admit you are wrong, you spin it in a so it comes across as arrogant (that’s pretty hard to do). I sincerely appreciate your posts and will continue to listen to what you have to say. You just might want to try a different approach. Carry on ladies……

After week 15, the NFL Commissioner Goodell should call Henry Muto to check how the resting of certain teams/players will impact his 48 fantasy teams. In response, the commission may change the playoff seeding rules if he deems it necessary to the success of Muto’s team and his quest for a fantasy football championship. This may have already been posted but I just noticed that Jacksonville is playing San Fran in week 15 and Houston in week 16. This is a lot of leagues playoff weeks so if you are looking for a defense it may be a solid pick if they are still available and you have the room to hold onto them.
