  1. None of the three are a great play. Randle could be a high-risk, high-reward play, if Murray gets hurt, but passing downs are going to belong to Dunbar. Williams is part of the Arizona backfield...yuck...but might be a better candidate to get more carries than Randle. Still might split with Taylor. Thompson is also a backup, but Denver is very run-heavy these days. Safe play might be Williams, but Randle / Thompson could be sneaky plays. Randle would have the bigger upside if Murray had complications. I'd go Williams to be safe, but Randle if you need to swing for the fences.
  2. A hurt Murray is still > Herron, IMO. Hill has to be in your lineup too. I'd go Murray / Hill.
  3. I'd lean Tate here, because of Clausen. Tate is a proven go-to guy with Johnson drawing lots of coverage.
  4. IMO you have to go Tate. CHI is such a tasty matchup, and he's a go-to guy with Johnson drawing the coverage. Colston is a dart throw.
  5. Hm, playing into week 17...always an adventure! Good luck, whatever you decided!
  6. Douglas definitely downgraded since Julio is playing. Colston could have a good game if it turns into a shootout...which it very well could with two bad pass defenses...but numbers have been down the past few games. VJAX has actually produced a lot in 2 of his past 3 games, despite McCown at QB. And they're almost certain to be down early against GB. Alshon is a huge ?? and I just don't feel good about him with Clausen at QB. I don't think he scores a TD this week. Moncrief is also a huge ?? - can he produce like people say he can? IND vs DAL could be another pass-heavy affair. Honestly, the only one I actually feel good about is VJAX. You could go Colston or Moncrief - I see both of those guys as the same general play - potential for great numbers if the passing game gets going. The scale-tipper could be that IND really doesn't have a running game to speak of... At the moment, VJAX and Moncrief would be the home-run swing if you ask me. Safe play would be VJAX and...??...Jeffery?...or maybe Colston, for TD potential?
  7. Don't play Gordon with Manziel at QB. Colston hasn't put up great numbers lately, but has a really great matchup. LaFell might see more work with Edelman out. I'd say LaFell is the safe play, with Colston as a HR swing (in a potential shootout with ATL).
  8. Landry. He has the hot hand. Especially in a PPR - he's been a target monster in the past few weeks.
  9. Hm. Both should have good passing workloads. Brady will probably pass a good bit since the NYJ run defense is actually halfway decent. But, ATL's pass defense is horrid, so it stands to reason that that game could turn into a shootout. I think Ryan has a higher potential ceiling here. Julio's playing, but even so, Ryan's been good lately regardless of who's playing WR. The Falcons are in a must-win game, so I think there's good potential here for a 400-yard performance from Ryan. I don't see that happening with Brady this week - if they get out to a good lead, Brady might even sit.
  10. Agree with Ripler on everything. Allen is a clear NO with these two other guys in the picture. Asiata is in line for a starter's workload, so he's the safe play. Gets the goal-line work too, so a TD (even two) would not be unexpected. Moncrief is a good play if you need a home run, but hasn't had the big game yet to prove he can do it. And since it's not PPR, that leans the flex position toward RBs overall.
  11. They are all in line for potential big games. Beckham for sure. I'd say Dez for the other one; since Murray is banged up DAL may rely more on the pass...and DAL plays IND, which could be a shootout. Nelson would be a good play too but is coming off of a clunker. Hot hands, I agree.
  12. Hmm. With Julio active, White's production is anyone's guess...but his recent track record is very good, and they'll probably be in a shootout with the Saints. LaFell should get lots of looks, with Edelman out. Gordon is worthless to me with Manziel at QB. Watkins is a clear #1 playing against an atrocious defense, but has produced next to nothing 5 out of his last 6 games. I think White and LaFell is how I'd go, maybe sticking Watkins in there for LaFell if you really need a home-run...but I'm not as high on Watkins with Orton at QB.
  13. I'd pull Stills, if you can, for Tate, and I lean Williams for FLEX. If not, then Tate > Williams. DET is playing CHI.
  14. Thanks BigMO1. You end up with a lot of options in an 8-team league Makes your starting lineup choices that much more important, I've found.
