  1. Funny, that's almost the same way I feel Andrew Luck sounds when he speaks.
  2. It's not worth having in todays NFL era. You can't be competitive when players don't want to get hurt (I don't blame them)and referees are blowing their whistles the moment an offensive player with the ball is even looked at by a defensive player. It's nothing more than a glorified televised paid practice session.
  3. As a long time Niner fan I look at this as a win-win situation. If he does well and can turn the Niners around, great. If he fails and they stay the same or become even worse, we could be entertained by more York hate banners flying over head on game day.
  4. Yahoo will wait as long as it can before paying out the Pro leagues, especially with stat corrections still coming in. One of the recent corrections I saw is Deangelo Williams had a fumble added to his stat line, and I've heard a lot of people have now lost/won their championship because of it. I will add that Yahoo took a very long time last year to pay out, so long that I had forgotten about it until they sent me an email more than a month later.
  5. I also believe he will have his appeal lifted, but only because the NFL had jus changed the Giants game to the Sunday night prime time slot. I am very interested in how the media will handle this if his suspension is lifted, especially since their referees failed to take proper action during the game.
  6. By definition it is not collusion, but the main goal is still there. By outwardly asking people to block a single person it is still a form of collusion, just by a different name. The end result is the same and I would treat it as such because it is more than one person purposely targeting another player, regardless if it is in secret or publicly announced. Fantasy football is hard enough to win at without being ganged up on.
  7. I actually hate amending rules mid season just for the benefit of one owner. Especially an owner who should have seen clear as day that the trade would be processed on Tuesday. It's part of managing your team and regardless of if 2 days is viewed as too long, it was not an issue I assume until this trade came up. This being said I would still talk to the two teams the owners are facing this week, as they will be directly affected by this amendment. If they are okay with it then change the review period to 1 day.
  8. I look at the Titans situation as more of a RBBC by failure. Sanky and West have not looked great thus far and they desperately need someone to be consistent. I think Andrews could give you 40 - 60 yards a game if given the chance, with an occasional touchdown here and there. Considering the state of the runningbacks right now, it's sadly possible to do worse. What I'm more worried about is the fact the Titans go on bye this week and when they return the coaches will have short term memory loss on how Andrews played in week 3. If I had to own a Titans runningback right now, I would want Andrews.
  9. Crowell couldn't even secure the job when West and Johnson were injured. I forsee Johnson taking it at some point as the season goes along. Best case for Crowell in my opinion is a time share runningback by committee.
  10. I loved them up until they started to press heavily for listeners to give them money, which they aren't even shy about doing so on their podcast. While they don't actually tell you it costs money on their podcast, it's $10 - $20for a guaranteed reply to a fantasy question (which you can get for free right here), $29.95 for them to review and help you with your roster post draft, and last but not least $1 - $100 a month to become an "Official member". Don't get me wrong I love the sound quality, I think they are funny and they seem knowledgeable, but I don't want to listen to them go on and on about how you can give them your money for advice every time I listen to a podcast.
  11. Too funny as that is the exact reason I am asking. I'm picking Montgomery, so I know it will probably be Janis.
  12. Regardless if you own Cobb, which receiver do you stash if you only can roster one, Montgomery or Janis? Janis apparently has more upside but is behind Montgomery on the depth chart.
  13. Does anyone know when his MRI is scheduled?
  14. To make it even better, I believe he even autographed some of them.
  15. The common suggestion seems to be that your league needs to have a rule written up for this situation in the future. It's apparent that nothing is written up that you can't do it but there also is nothing saying it can be done. I would probably see if some form of compromise can be worked out with the other managers in your league. I mean, do you really want to start the season off with your league pissed off at you?
