  1. Good points already covered. I'm also in the "save some for the end" strategy. However, don't save so much that you didn't spend enough to get quality starters. You need to manage the quality vs. quantity on your roster. You can get some good depth, but being deep with mediocre players doesn't win. I focus on players that I think are undervalued. I might nominate a guy I like in the first round or two, but after that, I'm nominating guys that I think are over priced in order to drain people's budgets. If all of the owners are savy and seem to be trying to save money, then I'll pounce on top tier guys I like since they are not overpriced.
  2. I have 4 WRs worthy of a 1st round pick: Moss, Fitz, Johnson & Johnson. (Not Chad) Depending on the scoring system and number of teams, I also consider Brees and Brady to be worth 1st round picks. At RB, I think Peterson and MJD are the top two, but after that, I'd go WR. Then I'd mix in LT and the QBs. That's 9 players If you've got 12 teams, that leaves 3 more RBs for the first round. Westbrook, Slaton, Turner, Forte, DeAngelo - depends on who you like.
  3. Good info. I think Thomas is a far better runner than Bush and this will limit Bush's carries, even if healthy. Bush's yards/carry is pathetically low for someone with such explosiveness. Part of the reason Thomas grades out so high is the TDs. He was a TD machine down the stretch last year. If one of these short yardage guys comes in and takes his TDs, that will really kill his value.
  4. Thanks. I'll see what I can do about posting here a bit more. Time is finite, unfortunately.
  5. Bounce back year. He just needs to be healthy and I believe he is. Sproles is not a threat to take carries from him. LT is a rare RB that can maintain a high level of play for many years, IMO. Plus, there aren't as many other RBs that are elite and truly featured on their team.
  6. I'm pretty high on Thomas, as you can see. Consequently, I'm not very high on Reggie Bush.
  7. Go right ahead. I will be updating periodically - there's a date of update on each team's page. (upper left)
  8. I still think Cedric Benson sucks. Bernard Scott is the only one worth drafting in a fantasy league. Might not do much, but it won't cost you much to get him. Benson's yds/carry is terrible and he won't put up squat against any sort of decent defense.
  9. Important notes: 1. I do NOT project injuries. Therefore, you'll see way more QBs with 4000 yds, RBs with 1000 yds, etc. That's because I assume they all play 16 games, with the exception of Lynch. However, my team and league totals are in range. I'm OK with this because I'm essentially projecting PPG and not total points. PPG is what matters, because I can plug in another QB if Brees gets hurt and I don't take a 0 from him. 2. I hope that I have some differences here. If my projections are the same as the consensus, I'm screwed. 3. I appreciate any and all feedback/criticism/flaming. I'll stand by my rankings, but it's never bad to hear the other side of things. 4. Yes, those really are my projections for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm probably further off on that team than anyone else. I won't be getting Romo or Marion Barber on any of my teams this year. ENJOY! http://www.phenomsff.com/projections/index.html
