  1. Team info in sig. My reasoning is, my WR corps is strong and deep, and Maclin is my least valuable WR. Amendola has huge upside. Why not, right? Thanks.
  2. Thanks. In the end, I went with Maclin + Martavis, since I didn't want to push my luck. Pretty good deal for me, since I now have four non-injured WRs instead of two, lol. Maclin is still the clear WR1 in KC and Martavis has potential and also can always draw targets when Brown gets focus from the defense. Hoping Yeldon improves so that I don't feel as bad about giving away West. Cheers
  3. Hillman is still gradually gaining more carries. I expect that trend to continue, or for it to stabilize to where he is now -- still RBBC, but about a 60/40 or 70/30 split. Peyton still is getting more and more comfortable as time goes on. I expect the offense to continue to solidify, ultimately leading to a consistently effective run game. Keep him, in my book
  4. Bump. He rejected by Diggs + Martavis counter. Should I accept Maclin + Martavis? Or ask for only Diggs?
  5. 12-team standard. Flex is RB/WR/TE. I own Charcandrick West. I also need WR help... Lo and behold, another owner offered West <--> Martavis, but I countered with West <--> Robinson. He just countered with West <--> Maclin + Martavis. Do I take? Or counter again and ask for Martavis/Maclin + Diggs? I also have a hope that West thrives into a solid RB1. Me: QB: Taylor, Carr RB: Peterson, Martin, West, Yeldon, Abdullah, Starks WR: Jeffery, Hilton, Cruz TE: Barnidge, Davis K: Gould D: Bills, Chiefs Him: QB: Cutler, Tannehill RB: Gurley, Forsett, Lacy WR: Hopkins, Robinson, Diggs, M. Bryant, Maclin, LaFell TE: Kelce, Reed K: Bryant D: Cardinals, Saints
  6. Well, you could give up Miller and McFadden, but you would end up with a pretty damn shallow RB corps.
  7. Tate is targeted more.........but Detroit is just a hot mess so far.
  8. Actually, I do agree with you, if it is PPR scoring. If PPR, then the trade is worth it (Gurley 18.5 v Ingram 17.7 ppg, per FantasyPros). Especially with Brees healthy now and gaining more rhythm and confidence in the passing game. If standard scoring, I'd push for a slightly higher-valued receiver than M. Bryant (My approach to fantasy is to err towards consistency, and he just hasn't played enough games for me this year yet). Good point, since I actually assumed this was standard scoring.
  9. Echoing everyone else's sentiments. Gurley is a very high-end RB1 at this point. You'd be getting a lesser (but still high-end) RB1 and a WR2 who's only played three games (and only had 49 yds and 0 TDs in his last one). I would be ok if you could get a high-end RB/WR1 combined with a solid RB/WR1 or high-end RB/WR2.
  10. If I were him, I wouldn’t take that trade. He seems like he could also use reliable high-end WR1s (Dez hasn’t proven himself post-injury yet, and Evans is off-and-on in TB) in addition to another decent RB. If I were in his shoes, and I knew you wanted Gronk, I’d probably counter and ask for Marshall + Williams or Beckham + Williams. Edit: If you can get Olsen for Martavis + Watson, do it!! Edit 2: Looking at your roster, kind of surprised you're 3-5. Bad timing/luck when it comes to starting certain players?
  11. Good trade. Here's why I think so: Gronk is only one person. You were suffering with WRs. Evans was your only viable WR. You were also suffering with RBs. Actually, you had no viable RBs at all. All three players are fantasy starters. You’ve traded a high-end TE for a borderline high-end WR1 and a potentially high-end RB1 (if Williams excels as he did in the first two games). Williams excelled as the feature back the first two games Bell was out; at 20.2 ppg, he actually led all RBs during those two weeks (source: FantasyPros). Marshall is currently #10 in ppg, and he has consistently produced solid stats; he has a high floor, so you can depend on him as an every-game starter (sources: FantasyPros, NFL.com). Lastly, some stats (source: FantasyPros): Gronk averages 15.2 ppg. He's gone, but now you've added Marshall, who averages 12.7 ppg, and Williams, who averaged 20.2 ppg with his two starts. In the end, tough giving away the clear #1 TE; however, you’ve made your team better. Next step is to find a decent TE off the wire.
  12. Edelman, Diggs, and Decker for me. As everyone says, start Edelman and Diggs. Edelman is an automatic start. Diggs is on fire; ride that until his numbers fall back to earth. As for the third choice...I'd go with Decker. He’s quietly crept into a consistent solid stat-producer. He’s scored a TD in 5 out of 6 games. He’s demonstrated a low ceiling. All 6 of his games have been between 9.4 - 15.7 points (NFL.com) His worst fantasy game is 94 yards, 0 touchdowns. On the other hand, Johnson's numbers have been inconsistent the whole season. Only his first two games have been good (82 yds + TD, 46 yds + TD). His subsequent four games have been very poor [3.9ppg (FantasyPros)]. Although he may be the de facto WR2 target-wise, he’s officially WR3 on the depth chart, behind Floyd (NFL.com). I consider it safer to go with Decker, and a higher risk to go with Johnson. Sure, Johnson might do well Monday, and he might improve throughout the rest of the season. But, until he does, he's still considered a risk in my book. I also have an 8-0 team (roster in sig), and for me, one of the keys to that consistently winning is erring towards consistency and taking calculated risks.
  13. 12-team standard. Flex is RB/WR/TE I own Charcandrick West. An owner offered me Martavis Bryant, but I believe in West's upside as a potential RB1. That said, my WR corps is shallow, and his RB corps is shallow. I might counter and ask for Diggs. Suggestions? Me: QB: Taylor, Carr RB: Peterson, Martin, West, Yeldon, Abdullah, Starks WR: Jeffery, Hilton, Cruz TE: Barnidge, Davis K: Gould D: Bills, Chiefs Him: QB: Cutler, Tannehill RB: Gurley, Forsett, Lacy WR: Hopkins, Robinson, Diggs, M. Bryant, Maclin, LaFell TE: Kelce, Reed K: Bryant D: Cardinals, Saints
  14. Thanks! Hilariously, only 2 of my 15 draft picks are still in there, and they're among the least valuable (D. Murray and Maclin). I worked the wire all season for gambles/investments. Also made some major trades this past week, after I lost Foster. Thanks for the input. I see where you're coming from. Agreed, Maclin is the clear WR1 (and probably the only viable WR KC has). My reasoning is: despite all that, stat-wise, his ceiling is generally low, and his floor is really low; he's devastated me in most of the games I've started him. I figure, in a 10-team league, 4 WRs and 4 RBs are sufficient, and beyond that, I can toy around to add valuable pieces/investments for trades and breakthroughs, even if that means a surplus in a position. What do you think about that? I might end up hanging on to him. If Forte returns soon, then definitely not worth it. Plus, Diggs and Bryant still haven't gained all of my confidence yet.
  15. Team info and roster in sig: We don't know the specifics of Forte's injury yet, but if it's an MCL sprain, he should be out at least 4 weeks. Check out my team. TBH, I'm happy with WR corps: Jeffery and Marshall are my obvious starters, and they've had their byes. Bench WRs are Diggs (high potential), M. Bryant (also high potential), annnnd...Maclin. Probably the least valuable WR1 in fantasy. Plus, he has four top-11 WR defenses coming up (DEN, SD, OAK, and SD again) and only one bottom-10 WR defense (BUF). I have a crapload of good RBs, but I don't think it hurts to add a temporary RB1 if it helps in trade situations or if he explodes in points. Thoughts? Cheers
