  1. Have to agree with Roughrider. If you can pull that off, take it. I however would not take that trade if you offered
  2. I think Ertz might add to much. What TE can yo5 get on waiver? Stanford could carry you., and Rodgers should get you a premium player. Who are his QBs now? you add probably 10-15pts a week with hunt. But lose 7-11 with losing Rodgers and Ertz. So in your favor, but still seems a little off to me
  3. I current;y offer Wentz for Gurley. He is deep at RB but terrible QBs. If I had to go Rodgers for Gurley not sure if that is bad? Definite upgrade for me
  4. I have Rodgers and Wentz. Can I trade Rodgers and get by with Wentz? Rest of season can Wentz keep the pace? Is Rodgers in trouble with the WR injuries? Thoughts?
  5. Evans is good but Blount is not a long term play. Where as I think Ryan Gordon have value for a few years. Dynasty or redraft
  6. Keep him unless you could package for a stud. Down year, but I think long term he is a keeper
  7. So I have Perriman in a Dynasty league. Getting trade offers that would help this year but not long term. I should be in a play off run and could use the help now but am I trading my future? Or is he just a bust... so much hype, but I am not seeing any payoff yet.
  8. OK - looking for feedback. Running a league for a long time and a couple owners keep begging for IDP. I am also in 1 other league with IDP. I have tried playing with scoring rules in multiple fashions and I am not impressed with IDP. It just does not seem to make a difference. Looking for feedback. Here are my concerns Unlike Offensive players - you cann say on a weekly basis that this IDP is going to force a fumble recover and run 50 yards for a touch down - Maybe there a couple players you suspect will have 1 or 2 a season, but it is not like you can count on it week in week out. Also - IDP with points for tackles tends to favor players on bad offensive teams more than good defensive teams. Bad Offense means D is on the field. Bad D that give up 5 yards a carry means 20 plays down the fielld = 20 tackles So a lineman on a team with a bad offense and a so/so D will be able to get 8 tackles a game. This does not equate to value in my opinion. Take away points for Tackles, Assists, Passes Defended, and then you are just looking at points for special actions. Sacks is about hte only thing I could say you can look at a player and go - WOW he gets a sack almost every game! is it worth setting up IDP and only giving points for sacks and interceptions? I also looked at multiple scoring designs and notice there tends to be a lot of parity between the #1 player and the #20 player maybe a 10% drop. Compared to QB, RB, WR the rate of change between 1 - 20 is up over 25% So as I look at an IDP system with 2 IDP (DT,DE, LB, CB, S) and build a basic scoring system I am seeing that players just tend to get 7-10 points a game with maybe a stand out week or 2 and you cannot predict what that week or 2 will be. Force Fumble, recovery and TD - maybe it happens most likely not week in week out So what am I missing?
  9. Looking for Huddler input on the Rookie QB's Dynasty League and I have 3 picks in first 12 and a bad team I need to target a QB for my future - but which one? My Gut says Colt McCoy - He will get to phase in and learn on a team that I think is turning the corner Bradford Seems good but STL sucks and I think being forced to dive into failure teaches failure - I do not see a Flacco / Ryan type of outcome Great play for him will be 2200 yards and 10 tds and <20 INTs and no concussions from getting sacked all day long - and I do not see 2011 being any better for him. Tebow is also a potential but I just cant go that way - to much name recognition not enough NFL talent So what are your thoughts? I can take a shot at a QB, which one should it be?
  10. Thanks - That was my thought - but the GB situation - and last couple years of GB RB history has me mildly concerned. BUT I think your points are valid - no one can see teh calimity future and so I have to go with the safety play of Grant.
  11. Down to Keeper deadline - I cannot choose between Grant and Housh. Housh will have a stable year - but I think Grant has more upside. Do you think Grant is the real deal? Will He produce this year?
  12. OK - until he gets hurt. then it is the williams show.
