  1. I'm not a big trader in fantasy, it's not my style. Our league's trade addict has sent me the 30th offer and I feel like this one might be a good value for me long-term. I send: James White Pats DST I Receive: JuJu Smith Schuster Austin Ekeler My thoughts are that long-term Ekeler and White have basically the same value, so I get a steal with Schuster in dynasty. The downside I see is that I have a very strong team (6-1) and have a shot at winning it all so losing the short-term value of White in my flex could bite me. We have very deep rosters so I wont list my whole roster but here are my significant flex players for our 10 team half-ppr: Todd Gurley Christian McCaffrey AJ Green Alshon Jeffrey James White Tarik Cohen Doug Baldwin John Brown Lesean McCoy and a handful of others
  2. Half-PPR dynasty. A guy has sent me about half a dozen offers trying to unload Chris Hogan and I've turned them all down but he finally sent one I kind of like. I would send Quincy Enunwa and receive Chris Hogan. We've got very deep rosters but I'm pretty banged up so starting Enunwa right now until Jeffery, Mccoy, or Baldwin get back. Starting skill players are guys like Gurley, CMC, and AJ Green. My team is pretty decent and I got a shot at a playoff run, but the guy I'm trading with has one of the best teams. I feel like this is a no brainer to take Hogan and sell Enunwa high, but I'm second guessing myself.
  3. I've got a trade offer I'm considering and need some advice. Melvin Gordon (mine) for Deandre Hopkins. It's the ultimate buy-low sell high as Gordon has tons of points, but it's all TDs and no efficiency. He's the only game in town but I feel like his scoring is unsustainable. Hopkins on the other hand has been terrible, no targets at all. But i feel like there's no way that can continue, I could be wrong. Half-PPR 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex My other RBs and WRs are: TY Hilton Jeremy Maclin Devante Parker Donte Moncrief Quincy Enunwa Melvin Gordon Ryan Mathews Jerrick Mckinnon Charles Sims Darren Sproles Bilal Powell It leaves me hurting at RB a little, but at 1-3 I feel I need to make something happen here.
  4. He was intended to be a pass catcher to replace the Pierre Thomas/Darren Sproles/Reggie Bush role that Sean loves. However you can tell by watching the games he really doesn't have a good grasp of the playbook. Spiller and Brees are never on the same page on passing plays, I really think he just runs the wrong routes half of the time. Also, keep an eye out for the Saints to bring back Pierre Thomas.
  5. Who do you have higher for a flex spot this week in PPR? LaFell or R. Cobb?
  6. I regret Tannehill. Luckily I traded/wired my way out of him. But it could have been worse.
  7. I'm starting him both weeks. They have so many playmakers I pretty much consider the Steelers offense to be matchup proof when healthy. Defenses can't cue in on just one skill player or one aspect of the offense, because they'll get beat elsewhere. Not to mention they have a pretty strong offensive line to keep Ben standing.
  8. I own Gronk in 2 leagues and picked up Chandler in one, missed Chandler in another and picked up Vance McDonald instead. But I think he offers value if Gronk misses time, he's kind of like a TE handcuff.
  9. We don't gain anything in our league either for the consolation bracket. However I still believe that if you have a game you play to win. To me that means you should be allowed waiver pickups and FA pickups.
  10. This question is in reference to redraft leagues, not keepers or dynasty. What is everyone's opinion on postseason transactions for teams that did not make the playoffs? Should teams not in the hunt for the championship be allowed to work the wire or free agency in an attempt to win their matches in the losers bracket? (no cash there) I personally have no problem with it as long as it stays within reason. So as long as they aren't dropping their whole team to the wire or engaging in waiver wire churning I see no issue with a team playing to win, even if they aren't in the championship bracket. However it seems others do not agree with me, and I was wondering if there was a general consensus on this.
  11. Approx 70 points between AJ Green and Andy Dalton.....yeah, I'm going to lose.
  12. To continue an analysis I did last week on the same subject (except PPR this time): I took week 1-9 scoring data for all wide receivers and calculated the standard deviation to determine which receivers had the most and least week-to-week consistency. I excluded WRs out on IR such as Steve Smith and Keenan Allen (although they ended very high on the inconsistent list for the games they did play). The most inconsistent WR was Antonio Brown (Dev: 12.1) followed by AJ Green (Dev: 11.8). Also in that area were guys like Julio Jones (Dev: 10.3) and Mike Evans (Dev: 9.7). Of the top-10 receivers in PPR the most consistent were Brandon Marshall (4.37) and Julian Edelman (6.7). Of the top-25 the most consistent was Eric Decker (3.8).
