  1. Well, your math wasn't right on the second point. No serious push.
  2. USC would lose if it played like that against the Sooners. That was USC's worst game of the season. But that's what happens sometimes in rivalry games when one team has been dominating the other for six years.
  3. USC won the game. ENOUGH SAID!!!!!
  4. A local newspaper has an article about USC's big-play offense today. The Trojans have 80 plays of 20 yards or more and 38 TD drives of two minutes or less. Shhhh, don't tell Sarge. Facts have no place in his fantasy world.
  5. Right, so San Francisco would be a home game for USC. They're in the same state, after all. Logic and Sarge don't go together.
  6. I've seen Portis play and know a lot about him.
  7. Well, Dallas is only about 80 miles farther away from Austin than Blacksburg is from Landover. I guess the limit for a site to be considered homefield must cut off somewhere between 195-275 miles.
  8. Why not call a field in Dallas, Tex., neutral? You call a field in Maryland neutral for Virginia Tech.
  9. 11 games Points allowed in the second half: 42 Points allowed in the fourth quarter: 10 That's right, 10 points in 11 games. USC just gets better and better as the game goes on. Sort of the reverse of how Oklahoma plays its seasons.
  10. Imagine what Leinart's stats would be if he had Mike Williams. White has had Clayton all season. Leinart began the year with only Steve Smith as a dependable option. Then Jarrett emerged and TE Dominique Byrd came back from injury, but Smith and Chris McFoy went down with injuries. Only now, beginning with the ND game, does Leinart have a full arsenal of weapons. Jarrett, Byrd and Smith are special, with McFoy and Mitchell also solid options. More impressive than Leinart's stats is how he succeeded with a patchwork group for so long.

Watch the game? I was at the game. Leinart threw it deep three times with nice touch for completions. That's how you stretch an offense. Then USC takes what the defense gives them. Throwing it deep any more than a team has to would be stupid. But if you think USC can't throw deep, you will be in for a rude awakening Jan. 4.

Funny reading this. Sarge always talks too early. Of course, that's all he can do when he knows the Sooners will get embarrassed again in the end. 41-10. Leinart 400 yards passing and 5 TDs. Oh, but USC doesn't throw long. Lmao. You just got owned, Sarge. Say goodbye to the Heisman. It's going to Leinart.
  13. 1. Pac-10 79.28 2. Big 12 78.02 3. ACC 77.10 4. SEC 74.88 5. Big Ten 74.50 6. Moutain West 71.99 Sarge, guess the experts don't all agree with your excuse of the Pac-10 being weak.
  14. I would actually say Peterson is a better RB than Bush right now, though Bush is a better all-around player. That said, Bush would kill Peterson in a race. Bush was third in the 100 meters at the California state finals as a junior before not running track as a senior.
  15. Oh, I thought you meant LenDale White. 16 carries for 117 yards and three TDs.
