  1. I would certainly start him over Watson. The others are a little tougher.
  2. I play in a performance scoring league with at least 6 pts for all TD's. More points for longer TD's. WE start 1qb, 2rb,2wr,1 flex(rb,wr,te), 1te,1k,1d/st. Here is my team: QB: Hasselbeck RB: F. Jackson, M. Morris, Westbrook, S. Young WR: Boldin, Crayton, A. Gonzalez, Hackett, Jennings, A. Johnson, TE: Scheffler PK: Gostkowski Def: Chargers So I am planning on starting Hass, Westbrook, Young, A. Johnson, G. Jennings, Scheffler, Gost, Chargers. I need to fill out my flex position and have to choose between: Boldin -Doesn't look like he'll play M. Morris - RBBC F. Jackson - Lynch will start taking more carries Crayton - Hit or Miss, plus slightly dinged A Gonzalez - Rookie against a decent secondary Who would you choose?
  3. Hey all here are my WR's. Thought I was looking very good 2 weeks ago...Now I need a waiver pick up this week to make the playoffs! Should I bother hanging on to Hackett or Williams. Best case scenario is they are back in week 16 right? Most likely out for the playoffs is my assumption. If you drop one of both, who would you pick up: Crayton Stokely Bryant Johnson Burleson Rice Gage My WR's now: Hackett, D.J. Jennings, Greg Johnson, Andre Walker, Javon Williams, Roy Sorry, forgot to mention that we can start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 flex (RB/WR). My RB's are Westbrook, L. Johnson (on IR), S. Young, M. Morris, and F. Jackson. I don't have much confidence in starting 3 RB's.
  4. My lineup is below. We must start a 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 flex, 1 TE, 1k, and 1 D/ST in a performance scoring league. I have a chance to get Ryan Grant off the waiver wire, but need to drop a TE to do it. I guess I could drop Gostkowski as well, but I'd rather not since he consistently score points. What would you do? QB Hasselbeck, Griese, Brian RB L. Johnson, Westbrook, Morris, WR A. Johnson, R. Williams, G. Jennings, Crayton, Walker (on IR) TE Heap, Scheffler K Gostkowski, Tynes Chargers, San Diego SDC Def
  5. Depends on who else you have for RB's and who you would drop, but I would say pick him up.
  6. I think Galloway is due for a good game....
  7. HI all, It's been a while since I last posted. I have been offered a tempting trade and wanted to get everyones opinion. We play in a performance scoring league with at least 6pts/td but goes up with longer td's to 12 pts. Also 1 pt for every 10 rushing/receiving. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 TE, 1K, 1 D/ST. My lineup is currently QB: Hasselbeck, Bulger RB: Westbrook, Edge, Dunn, Buckhalter, Betts WR: A. Johnson (on IR till next week), G. Jennings, J. Galloway, B. Berrian TE: Heap, D. Clark K: Gostkowski DT: Chargers I have been offered to trade: Edge, Dunn, Berrian, Galloway for L. Johnson, Roy Williams, Crayton I am tempted, because I think LJ will pick it up some in the second half and I am not a big believer in Galloway or Berrian. Am I crazy? I would definitely be giving up a lot of depth to do this. Thoughts?
  8. Hey Guys, Thanks for the ideas. I went with the Evangelical Meth Masseurs. This topic was good for some laughs! There are certainly some interesting minds in The Huddle. Icculus
  9. Yes, I loved the Neverland Ranch Hands and it was very well received in the league. Turd Burglars is good but doesn't quite have the same oomph.... The post above with the Evangelical reference is good, but I don't want to offend a lot of people....
  10. My brother and I played this weekend. For the second year in a row, we made a bet that the winner could rename the losers team. His team is currently called the Meatheads. Last year, I won the bet as well and renamed his team The Neverland Ranch Hands. Anyone have any clever, funny, derogatory team names? I would appreciate any ideas....
  11. I was looking up how much Mike Bell played last week and saw this advice from CBS Sportsline: "Bell, who was named as a the No. 1 back during training camp, has been useless lately from a Fantasy perspective. Avoid him in Week 8 against Indianapolis, especially with a solid rushing defense coming to town." While I agree that you should avoid Mike Bell, last I checked Indy was ranked #31 in run defense. Not what I would call solid...
  12. Thanks Ty. I guess you are a follower of the Helping Friendly Book!
