The one thing Moss offers to Cassel is a target that he can just throw it up to and let the receiver do the work. Welker might be in trouble, but Moss might get even more looks. Could be wrong though.
I could be wrong, but I think FWP's contract is up after this season.
I would rank them for this year as:
1. Forte
2. Smith
3. Mendenhall
For future:
1. Mendenhall
2. Forte
3. Smith
Maybe this can be a survivor pool with Favre. He can pick one team each week and if he wins, he can stay in the league. Just like the survivor pool, he can play on a team only once in the season. Might be interesting to see if he can win a championship.
I don't think the NFL Network package reduced the number of games available on NFL Sunday Ticket. Instead, it took games that were being shown free on Saturday afternoons after the college football season. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
CBS only has satellite bandwidth (to get the game from the game site to network control) to do 2 games in HD at a time. They do 3 games a week. On a select few Sundays, CBS will take bandwidth from their CW network to do 3 games in HD at a time. They are not doing more than 3 a week this year. That should be improved in the next couple of years.
This show still comes on. Sal Palantonio is the new host with Merril & Jaws. It shows Sunday mornings at 8:30 on ESPN, and I believe has one other showing on the ESPN family.
I just noticed on the ESPN 18/58 Update that the Packers signed Koren Robinson. Could it be for this reason, because he won't be out of jail long enough to see the field!
