  1. Anyone have a live stream for this>
  2. Anyone else see that replay of Petrino pointing at Miles and subtly mouthing "F U you M F" because he think Miles is running up the score? What a sore loser (and a quitter.)
  3. Our offense reminds me of 2009 - predictable. Our defense isn't the same without Spikes not on the field (Yup, Spikes). If he's not there, they will struggle stopping the pass AND the run. That's when it gets ugly.
  4. For the record, I have always been a HUGE Gates fan. I was the guy who reached to draft him every year in my league. That said, Gates is now damaged goods. He has a chronic injury which will nag him for the rest of his career. Combined with the fact that SD has better weapons around him than ever before, and I think it's safe to say his best days are behind him. Sad to say but I call it like I see it.
  5. A combined stinker from Dustin Keller and Plaxico Burress...
  6. Fred Jackson just ran through the Giants defense like they weren't even on the field. Go Bills.
  7. I also dropped them for the Bengals Defense. Not only do they not have Wide 9 personal, but Asante Samuels is whining again. And he only plays when he wants to play. Dream Team my A$$.
  8. Beanie is ranked 27th!!!! in this week's rest of the season ranking sighting he's "Tapped out in the final remaining favorable match-up on the fantasy schedule; meanwhile, Alfonso Smith looked adequate and Chester Taylor continues to learn the playbook. Hope you sold high." He's ranked behind Ben Tate, Felix Jones, Shaun Greene, Brandon Jacobs and Mark Ingram. I mean, common -- this is ridiculous. I'm not about to claim Beanie is the best fantasy RB of the season but the guy is FINALLY getting reps, averaging 6.4 YPC and has a very reasonable schedule down the stretch. Even WITH the game he missed he's 7th in total points in my PPR league.
  9. Swearing aside, this is the best trio calling MNF that I can recall. All football, no BS. I used to watch Dennis Miller and Tony Kornheiser on mute.
  10. Yup... I heard it to. "SHAM WOW!! Henne's gotta get the ball out of his hand!"
  11. I'm not sure what you'd have expected from CJ this week. As a fellow owner, I didn't expect any sort of a monster game. In terms of drafting him ahead of Ray Rice, that might prove to be a costly mistake. I love RR this season and certainly had him #1 overall on my board. With a FB and that new offensive line, he will easily have 2500 total yards.
  12. Can you imagine if the lockout hadn't resolved and we'd all been lamenting the loss of opening night?
  13. Carolina's offense this year reminds me of Mike Vick's first years in Atlanta. They had a two-headed monster in the backfield (Dunn and Duckett) and Crumpler was ATL's leading receiver. If I recall, they were near the league lead in rushing his Vick's first year and led the league in his second year. I expect similar things from Newton/DeAngelo/Stewart/Olson.
  14. When I draft a fantasy team, I stay away from scrambled eggs. Collie is one hit away from his career being over. Further, it's not like you even get his best this season when he'll be on the field. I won't be shocked to see Manning lose 1-2 weeks of the season and then take another 2-4 weeks to get his timing back with his WRs.
  15. Graham appears to be a BEAST and Brees was looking for him all over the place in the Raiders game. Would love to snag him or Owen Daniels in the 7th round of my 12 team PPR. I'll let everyone else overbid for the usual suspects.
