  1. Scoring is in my sig, forgot to mention that. Appreciate the thoughts but...just not an S-Jax fan due to his team, poor guy has been pounded into mush and D-Will has what's looking like a 50/50 or 60/40 split at best coming. I'm leaning toward the younger upside guys like Greene, Mathews and Charles at this point plus a WR.
  2. Really having a hard time with this spot. Done a bunch of mocks but haven't cared for the outcomes. I think the RB value at that spot consist of vets with real questions like S-Jax (can't score or stay healthy), d-will (has stewart hanging around and some health concerns), Mendenhall (o-lne and qb issues) and rookies or sophomores like Greene, Matthews etc who also have questions. Seems too early to take Charles, Benson, P.Thomas...so what to do? WR/WR is tempting but also could leave a big hole at RB if you're unlucky with a 3rd round RB run. Don't really want to take a QB quite that early either. Any advice appreciated from anyone who has drafted or mocked from that spot or has any insight, thanks!
  3. Tried to sell him after his big night against the Colts, couldn't get a single bite...amazing really (given the poorness of some highly drafted RB's). Holding now, he'll have some average days, has to play the Jets twice for example, but looks like he's for real this year and Ricky spelling him will only help him overall IMHO.
  4. Should have said his other WR's of note are Andre Johnson and Housh. Andre is obviously too valuable and Housh I have no interest in. Reality is, i'm in a league where trades are not commonplace and the guy i'm talking to is the only guy who really has WR depth that he can afford to lose a good starter. The guy with roddy does not trade. Possibility the Jennings owner in our league may bite but other than that, this might be the only trade I can swing...my concern is that Walter will roughly score what Chad does anyway and I lose an RB for nothing...more opinions would be great, thanks
  5. My roster and scoring is in my sig...I have a pretty obvious glaring weakness at WR, mainly due to the Gonzo injury and haven't had a good time trying to fill that void with waiver wire picks. On the other hand, my RB's are pretty deep and i've been offered Ohco Cinco straight up for Mcgahee. I think this is a pretty fair deal but does anyone think I should aim a little higher or is this about the best I could hope for? I tried to move Ronnie Brown instead but he wouldn't bite. Just not sure what Willis's trade value is, other than it's probably not going to get much higher...thanks for any input
  6. Not only did I not start PT due to just coming off an injury, but didn't start K.Walter for the same reason, started Laurent Robinson instead, worked out great that did .... My bench outscored my starters handily...need 20 from DWill Monday night now
  7. Having a tough time figuring out which RB to start with Deangelo Williams this week...my choices are: Ray Rice or Willis Mcgahee (home to Cleveland) - love this matchup for both but almost impossible to determine who is the BETTER start. I understand Rogers is Cleveland's best player and so running less inside and more outside might suit Rice better but tough to ignore Willis's TD's so far Or Ronnie Brown (@ San Diego) - pretty good matchup it would seem, should be a solid outing though not quite what he put up on the Colts. For some reason, a little leary of this one but can't argue with the experts that it should produce startable numbers Not considering starting Pierre Thomas as of yet. Down the line, I may have to trade one of my RB's just to lessen the conundrums I am having each week. Anyway, input greatly appreciated. Roster and scoring in sig, thanks!
  8. Thank you for the feedback, I was kind of feeling that way but I guess just needed an impartial opinion that coincided with mine...appreciate the input!
  9. My league is standard scoring, no PPR, start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, K, DEF In this league I have: Deangelo Williams Pierre Thomas Ronnie Brown Ray Rice Ahmad Bradshaw Willis Mcgahee Should I dump Mcgahee to make room to pick up Mike Bell? Does this move make sense? I'm a little leary of doing it just in case Rice gets hurt I guess but PT's injury is a concern. Thanks
  10. Thanks for all the input guys...much appreciated!
  11. 12 team, standard scoring league, roster is: QB - C.Palmer, M.Hasselbeck RB - C.Johnson, P.Thomas, K.Smith, R.Rice, L.Mccoy WR - A.Johnson, H.Ward, L.Coles, T.Holt, D.Avery TE - Gates Been offered Kurt Warner straight up for Kevin Smith...think it's a pretty fair offer and I am not too jazzed about Palmer as my #1 but I think I probably need WR help much more...agree? or can I take the RB hit and should I make the trade? *edit* Forgot to mention that it's not a flex league, we start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/K/DEF. I'd probably feel ok about Rice as my RB3 but not really sure if Warner is truly worth the upgrade...I guess i'm probably ok playing the QB matchups so maybe i'll counter for one of his WR's... Thanks
  12. and in case anyone forgot, Pierre gets to carve up the sorry-ass Lions next sunday...I had him going on 3 teams last night, benched Lynch in one at the last minute too. I now have 1 foot in the championship on all 3 teams thanks to PT!
  13. Standard scoring LT v Chiefs C.Johnson @ Bears M.Moore v Colts R.Brown v Seahawks R.Rice @ Texans Starting LT for sure and most likely CJ despite the tough matchup but which other? Thanks
