Anyone, including moose johnston who claims to be "OFFENDED" needs to seriously get over themselves. What does it matter what a player needs to do to keep himself psyched up ? There are PLENTY of class guys in the nfl. Why would you want everyone to be the same on the field, that's certainly not the case in real life. As long as they're not mocking other players, and especially if they're not getting themselves into trouble off the field, what the heck is the big deal? I'm sick of people falling down and screaming "OFFENSE" everytime they see something they don't like.

Guys, I'm sure I must have missed a posting somewhere, if so, I apologize. But why aren't there any 8 team mock drafts on the site, or am I mistaken ?

Curtis, one of the most highly-regarded free agents on the market this year, had talks with at least four other teams for his services. Spadaro....what a joke....

I've got smith and am starting him regardless. He's due for a big game. I figure if Weinke plays, he'll be looking for Smith all day...

The second receiver position has been important to my team this year. Got a tough choice this week. Housh against Oakland .... nobody's throwing against Oakland these days. Of Mushin against the Rams. Folks are toting the rock against the rams these days, may be a big benson/t.jones night. Thoughts ? 1 pt/10yds.......

Some of these players are knuckleheads. If there are fans at the stadium paying money to be there, it's because of their rooting interest for the real team, not their fantasy team. Some of these clowns actually look down on fantasy football fans. What do they really care anyway? The popularity of the sport, for whatever reason leads to crowded stadiums and high salaries. Would it kill Tiki and that knucklead Strayhan to just go along for fun. Like we need them to tell us how they're more interested in winning football games than putting up good stats. I want my fantasy players to do well, but I want my real teams to win too. I don't get how difficult that concept is to some of these players -

No correlation between drafting LT and records. I drafted LT 3rd and am 5-5-1. Two of the first losses of the season are directly attributed to Steve Smith and T.J. Housh missing the first two games of the season. I didn't know Steve Smith tweaked his hammy before the draft and I had no idea Housh had the bad heel. If either one of them had played and played like they've played since coming back, I would have won both of those extremely close games that I ended up losing. Deion Branch and Joe Horn were my 3rd and 4th receivers and we all know how slow a start Joe Horn got off to....

I'm worried about Eli coming down the stretch, throwing the ball into the wind at the Meadowlands. I figure it would take something like Eli & Kevin Jones to get it done. Worth it ?

Of course it's not official yet, but I hope it's true. I liked what I saw out of the kid on Monday, for the most part. Two of those interceptions he threw were plays that I've seen Bledsoe make more than once. I remember him throwing an interception on a screen pass attempt against the eagles either last year or the year before. That last one was a timing route, which I believe can be worked out with practice reps and playing time. Other than that, I saw a lot of promise in the kid. They don't have to keep 10 guys in to block, so what do you know, there IS a tight end named Witten on the team....and he can play TOO!! It's time to see what the kid can do. We know what Bledsoe can't do by now. He places a limit on how good the cowboys can be, and that limit ain't very high. Let's see the limit the kid sets.

Reverse the trade. It's a no-brainer. He may not admit it, but the guy that would have received Portis in the deal has to understand that no one in their right mind would have proposed that deal on purpose and he needs to take the guy's word that it was a mistake. He'll get over it quick.

You'll be handing him the championship for the next few years in my opinion. His would be a 12-team ALL-PRO team if this were to occur. I can't imagine your league mates will be very happy with you....not that it should be a consideration to you if you think you're helping your team. But how could your team compete with his if you do this? Right now, when alexander comes back, he'll have to play the matchup game with chester taylor and julius jones..... He's going to be keeping mcnaab-alexander-LT-Roy Williams-Javon Walker and no-brain starting them for the next 3-5 years and will be a monster to contend with. Have I sufficiently expressed my surprise that this would be a 12-league team roster ?
