  1. All I can say is the 2 best SuperBowl cities are in danger of losing their teams, San Diego and New Orleans. Hopefully something will get done in both places, otherwise look forward to more unqualified cities (Jacksonville) and terrible weather cities (Detroit) to be hosting the big game.
  2. Funny stuff coming from a Charger fan. At least Brady earned his money, unlike Leaf, Rivers, and until this past year, Brees. Add up the amount of money you've paid or will pay those three, divide by ZERO super bowl wins, and let's see what you come up with.........
  3. We have a 2 keeper leauge where a keeper cannot be kept more than one year (I kept LT last year, so he is back in the draft this year). We need to announce our keepers 1 week prior to the draft, which gives people enought time to figure out who might be there when they pick.
  4. Christian Fauria is interested in that career path. He is pretty intelligent and speaks well, as opposed to the "look at me" guys like Sapp.
  5. The difference is: 1. Scott will not be the highest player on the Patriots 2. 6. Patriots huddle with LB Brown Ex-Seahawk Brown pays team a visit By Jerome Solomon, Globe Staff | April 26, 2005 Former Seattle linebacker Chad Brown, released by the Seahawks last week, was in town last night for a visit with the Patriots to discuss how he would fit in with the team. A 12-year veteran, Brown spent four years with Pittsburgh before joining the Seahawks. A former Pro Bowler, Brown, who turns 35 this summer, has been plagued by injuries the past three seasons, playing in just 29 of 48 games. Last season, he appeared in only seven games and had 37 tackles at strong-side linebacker. At the conclusion of the NFL Draft Sunday, Patriots coach Bill Belichick indicated that outside linebacker was a position at which the team needed to add free agents before training camp. "Outside linebacker is an example of a position where we haven't drafted anybody and really haven't signed anybody, and we need to go to camp with a couple more players than we have there," he said.
  7. I am not sure what Ty Poole counts against the cap, and what cutting him could save the Patriots, but I can see the Pats signing Glenn and then cutting Poole. From boston.com ............
  8. For being 1st in the AFC E, NE plays the 1st place team from the AFC N and S. Which means while NE is playing PITT and INDY..... The Jets play JAX and BALT and the Bills play HOU and CIN.
  9. The schedule is now posted on NFL.com. All the links on the NFL.com frontpage point to the 2004 schedule. This link will get you there: 2005 Page
  10. Exactly, I think the Pats would be beside themselves if Crowder dropped to them.
  11. From Mort's article on ESPN, it's on the NFL front page, can't miss it. Looks like definately WR......
  12. The incident happened in mid Feb. and the lawsuit has already been filed? This is all about money. The woman had to have contacted a lawyer immediatly to get the ball rolling.
  13. So, Manning can get autographs from accountants, but teens should stay clear of Harrison?
  14. From coldhardfootballfacts.com........ And someone else had Culpepper up there, what has that guy won? I'll take Brady.
  15. I wrote this a couple months ago......... Indy finished the 2003 season with a LOSS at New England (AFC Championship) Indy opened the 2004 season (same night the banner was unveiled) with a LOSS at NE Indy Finished their 2004 season with a LOSS at NE. Will the NFL be cruel enough to have Indy watch another Championship banner raising celebration at NE on opening night? The answer, evidently, is NO. I think the NFL should reward San Diego with that slot, not a chump like Randy Moss. If Moss is not playing for Oakland, are they in this slot??????
