  1. We got shredded by...Chris Brown. He was making some good cutback runs, but there were big holes in the middle of the D, especially behind the DTs. The LBs looked like they were playing for Young's scrambling and were committed the containment of Young on the outside, leaving the middle open. They should have adjusted. Point taken about Del Rio, he has to be blamed for some of this. And for not having another player that can kick FGs. With Scobee hurt in pre-game, they were forced to go for a 4-10 inside the TEN 30....and they lost by 3. You need to have the P or someone ready to go in and make short kicks. That's some serious lack of planning and it cost the Jags the game. I have been behind Jack for a while, but he did not have the team properly prepared yesterday. Garrard did look good though, I was encouraged by the passing game. Amazing what happens when you bring in a guy who has passing rhythm.
  2. I run a 10 team keeper league in it's 4th year. Started it after playing in 12 team redraft for a while. Here is a link to the bylaws if you are interested Link some other advice... -we limit waivers to one per week. If you open it too much, it devalues the draft and minimizes trades. -we slot draft from the previous years playoff and try to give incentive for people to win their games late in the season. You get to choose earlier by going deeper into the playoffs (excluding the people who place in the money, they pick at the end).
  3. uh...yeah. Lighten up people, it's Friday...

  5. how about Most Boring Thread of All-Time or I Will Never Get These 2 Minutes Back
  6. but there is one positive, those not seeing the Thursday night game also do not have to listen to Bryant Gumble try and learn how to do play-by-play. :earsbleeding:
  7. How republican to offer that those that can afford it and are able to get it have no problem. Everyone must be lazy and want a handout.
  8. Many sites, including MFL (Reports>Wireless), are offering wireless versions of their content for PDAs and such. I just joined a new gym and found out they have wireless while using my IPAQ listening to MP3s. Sure would be cool to browse the S/B list, Predictions while riding the bike. I can connect to the site, but it's a real pain to navigate and is not setup for a small screem. Also would be cool for folks who are out and about on the weekends. maybe next year? I would not say it has to be message boards and all. I would be happy with news, SB list and Predictions. Members only of course. thanks cmoore Go Garrard!
  9. it's funny if you look at the first game on Fox this week there is a green blob in Mississippi for the Packers/Dolphins game...the Favre effect. I am not sure why the same green blob in southern Oregon though
  10. I saw it too and have been looking around. The Florida Times Union web page coverig the Jags is a disgrace. You get better info from the team website and injuries are not exactly their priority.\ Here is the best I could find (Rotoworld) Matt Jones (questionable, groin) missed a portion of practice Thursday. Impact: The big Jaguars wideouts face a small, speedy Indianapolis defensive backfield in Week 3. Jones can be safely used in fantasy leagues this weekend if he returns to practice at some point prior to game day.
  11. It was a good game and one of the more dominent displays the Jags D has showed. The guys on ESPN after the game were talking about how the Jags were more physical than the Steelers and you don't hear that being said very often, but I think it was true last night. Fred looked much better than last year and Stroud/Henderson showed why they are the best DT combo in the league. D Darius can play too and he is a handful. If we could score 24 a game we might have something here. Still have concerns about the O for sure, especially after seeing how long Leftwich strides out to throw the ball. Man he is asking for trouble with that. I know it was 9-0 and the lowest scoring game on MNF history, but I enjoyed the intensity that the game was played with and thought it was actually a well played game, just tough going for the Os.
  12. I'll step up and take Jax ....now only if Menudo would take Pit.
