  1. From Rotoworld: According to DallasCowboys.com's Bryan Broaddus, the "early thinking" is DeMarco Murray (hand) will play in Week 16 against the Colts. A former longtime Cowboys and NFL scout, Broaddus is as plugged-in as anyone covering the team. Cowboys VP Stephen Jones stated on Sirius XM Radio Monday that Murray faced an "uphill battle" to face Indianapolis, but that may have been gamesmanship ahead of arguably the biggest game of Week 16. It's worth noting that Murray's band surgery on his hand was performed on his left hand. Murray primarily carries the ball with his right hand. The injury could affect him in pass protection and as a receiver, but Murray should be all systems go as a ball carrier against the Colts.

    Vereen

Good point Rajn. I agree Stacy is definetly the safer play. I could very well end up going with him.

    Vereen

I have to pick two between Lacy, Stacy and Vereen in a PPR. I'm starting Lacy for sure. I haven't decided yet between Vereen or Stacy. Higher floor with Stacy but higher ceiling with Vereen. I'm leening towards Vereen.
  4. 12 team redraft PPR QB: Stafford or Cutler RB: Stacy/Lacy/Vereen - not sure what two yet WR: Allen/Garcon/V. Jackson TD: V. Davis K: Tucker D: Bengals I lost Julio Jones. Spiller and Wilson were supposed to be my #1 and #2 RB.
  5. In this case both scenerios played out. He had Keenum in as QB and Brady on his bench as well as D. Williams in at RB and Murray on his bench. I agree you can't start messing with who you think someone should be starting. He also had AJ Green and his Def. on bye in his starting line-up. His only other WR was Boldin...who scored 21 pts. I think what everyone is agreeing on (for the most part) is that Boldin should have been inserted into his line-up for this week.
  6. The guy that did this is a good guy. I don't think he purposely didn't submit his lineup. That's not the issue really. I understand everyone makes mistakes or forgets or whatever. As I said, I would like to implement something so that if someone doesn't submit a line-up for whatever reason it can be "fixed" somehow so as not to effect any playoff implemications.
  7. I'm not saying he's not telling the truth. I'm saying if he had time to go in and "set" his line-up, why not double check it just to make sure? And it is a bullhonda excuse IMO. If you don't have time to set and check your line-up quick Sunday morning then don't join the league...especially when there's a significant amount of $ on the line. I didn't post this to get into a pissing match about why he did or didn't click the submit button. I was curious as to what others do to avoid this so we can implement something going forward.
  8. It doesn't hold water with me because there are ways to verify that you clicked the submit button. If he was in there to update his line-up, why not take an additional 2 seconds to make sure you have the correct line-up in.
  9. This guy did email me the following Monday saying he must have forgot to hit the submit button. It doesn't hold water with me. I double and triple check my line-ups before game-time. I like the idea of using the week prior line-up or some variation of that. Something needs to be done though. No one should have to miss out on the championship game because of someone else's negligence. We'll discuss it and this guy is definetly going to know that if he (or anyone) does it again, they are out.
  10. I would be in the championship game next week if an owner who was out of the playoffs would have submitted his line-up week 13. He was playing the guy I was tied with for the division lead. He had Brady on his bench as well as his starting RB and WR. I would have had the first rd bye. I ended up losing last week by 2.4 pts (2nd highest scorer) and would have won this week (highest scorer). I'm wondering how others handle this within thier league. In one league I'm in it's a $10 fine for not submitting a lineup. IMO that's not enough. This guy cost me at least $200 (2nd place) and possibly $600 - $700 for 1st. I would have had a really good shot at winning it all as I have a solid team and was highest total pts for the year.
  11. I had to start him last night as Vereen was my only other option. I'm wishing I would've rolled the dice and went with Vereen.
  12. Rotoworld suggests picking up James Casey in case Daniels is unable to go Sunday night. I went to pick him up and rtsports (the old fanball) has him listed as a RB. I'm curious how other sites have him listed.
  13. I had the kids b-day party going on so I missed most of it. What did Mickelson do?
  14. 16 of us were out for a bachelor party and we each pitched in $21 to bet on a trifecta..at least that's what I think it was. I know nothing about horse racing or how/what you can bet on. They asked if I wanted in for $21..I said sure. All I know is we won $1,500. Only $80 a piece after taxes but still pretty cool and exciting.
  15. The board doesn't want anyone going against their drug-based approach because that doesn't put money in their pockets.
