  1. JJ. Arrington should start. He'll definitely get the most touches - and regarding preseason, it's a bunch of BS. Clinton Portis had a bad preseason his rookie year and then blew up. Hold on to Johnson until Priest breaks his leg - you'll be loving life then.
  2. I think Crumpler's going to score tomorrow, if that's what you're looking for. I mean, I would say the odds are better that Alge gets a TD than the three guys you mentioned...
  3. Depends on your company and how reasonable your management is. I could probably talk my way out of it by saying that I always have a browser open, but if they're already looking for a way to get rid of you, you're probably in trouble if they sniff it out. Trust me though, your IT guys can see and track whatever they want to.
  4. He did horrible. Overanalyzed everything and never started the obvious guys because of some stupid stat he saw that turned him off.
  5. Honestly, I gotta lay off. I have a buddy who seriously lost his job last year because they brought him a report of his Internet useage, and it was riddled with fantasy sites. Apparently, they took exception with his spending 85% of his day researching players on the web...
  6. Everybody talks about that big "56-48 shootout" last year between the Bengals and Browns, but nobody mentions that they also played earlier in the 2004 season at Cleveland (as they are this weekend), and the Bengals lost 34-17, with Palmer managing only 148 yards, 1 TD, and an INT. I've got Plummer and Palmer on my team too, and I'm going with Plummer this week. Palmer's upside is intriguing, but that's all it is at this point: Upside. Plummer's like a blue chip stock, where Palmer's more of a start-up IPO.
  7. Thanks for your insight. These guys are available on waivers - any advice: Tyrone Calico Mike Williams David Givens Reche Caldwell Kevin Curtis
  8. Start Anderson. As everyone already noted, starting a rookie in his first game is too risky. You gotta take a wait and see approach with these guys.
  9. None of these guys are very intriguing, but I need to start two of them alongside Torry Holt. (6 pts/TD, 1 pt/10 yards). This is how I see it: Stallworth: Could see some good opportunities with N.O. playing from behind most of the game and Joe Horn getting all the attention from the defense. Burress: Not sure if Eli's arm will do much for Plaxico's stats against a legitimate Arizona passing D. Lee Evans: With JP Losman throwing here, I'm scared. Samie Parker: KC's second option, underrated guy, could see some upside in this weeks game. Thoughts on which two to start (and please don't just go down the darn Week 1 rankings and tell me the first two guys). Thanks all.
  10. I guess regarding your bye week issue, you've got some time to work out a trade maybe. Drop your worst guy, pick up Carnell, and figure it out from there.
  11. Crockett only played one series. Sure, he had a few nice carries, but Jordan is OAK's man. Every featured back will get a breather in a game. Keep Jordan. If he can put together 110 yards of offense against the Pats when Oakland's behind, think about what he's gonna do against some easier defenses when Oakland's spanking them with their other weapons. Plus, you're trading for an unknown rookie...
  12. Priest, McCallister, Jones.
