  1. Is Dez Bryant going to play on Monday? How do you think he will perform if he does? I'm in a position that I'm guessing many of you are, where we have to decide whether to wait on Dez for Monday or go with a safer option like a Julio Jones on Sunday. More info on Bryant's status would be really helpful.
  2. The thread question was whether the poster's actions would be immoral. I don't know if it's against the rules - that would depend on your league. But it definitely would be immoral.
  3. Who would you rather start this week? Especially if the league's points are weighted toward TDs?
  4. Wow...you are so cool...you take the time to correct peoples' spelling.
  5. I used to be incredibly active on this forum a few years ago, and I've only been lurking and reading this summer. But this thread finally got me to come out and say something. I personally have noticed a lack of fresh ideas on the board, as a whole, compared to a few years ago. Many legitimate threads go unanswered, and some are killed before they begin because people pick a fight. The poster in this case didn't seem to ask a question that duplicated other threads. In fact, the poster seemed to have some rather original insight and indepth analysis from the beginning, and he tried to fashion the Topic in a way that would distinguish this thread from other "MJD injury" threads already pending. There is no need to ostracize him or criticize his post. I wish there were more posts like his going around - fresh, insightful, and supported. There is no need to disincentivize well-intentioned posters from adding their thoughts to the forum. As far as MJD, I think any RB on a bad team carries a great deal of risk. Without a team that generates several goal-line attempts per game, the RB must fashion his own scoring from afar. If you WERE to pick a RB on a bad team, however, wouldn't MJD be the sort of back you'd want? A RB that can catch, run outside, run between the tackles, break long runs, AND move the pile in short-yardage situations? Because MJD is the real deal and has proven that he can shoulder the load for his entire team, I think he is as good of a bet as almost any other runner. Well worth the risk IMHO. Plus, he fell to my team in my local draft at 1.10!!
  6. I drafted D'Will and Steve Smith this year. As the Panthers go, so go my team. Turns out that my team hasn't been doing so well this year. Any one want to share the misery?
  7. Beyond concerned. I think desperate is a good word.
  8. Now that Stewart is looking less likely to have a breakout season, how high does DeAngelo go? I play in a league that overvalues TDs and reduces the value of receptions. In that case, is it crazy to rank DeAngelo top 3-5?
  9. Perhaps I should start saying a prayer...
  10. I need to pick one out of: Dwayne Bowe vs. Oakland Ronald Curry vs. KC Reggie Brown vs. CHI My inclination is to go with Bowe. What do you guys think?
  11. Looks like I should have picked up Webb instead of Bowe...
  12. Any one know which games are being streamed today, and where I can see a list of them?
  13. Come on NE homers...spill it. What's the deal with Maroney this week?
