  1. I am starting emmanuel sanders and was leaning towards fuller. I have been starting hopkins and sanders since jeffrey got hurt. Fuller has been on bench the last couple weeks. I picked him up for insurance in case hopkins got hurt, but he is getting good looks and vs vikings i think he could be better option than hopkins. Or start an injured jeffrey vs lions. Thoughts?
  2. It's only abuse AFTER they fully exit the birth canal in this country. Til then, anything goes for the MOTHER'S sake. Those kid's would accept a spanking over the alternative. Not saying it doesnt look like Adrian went overboard, just adding a different perspective on what can be offensive to some and not to others.
  3. I am sorry if i missed it guys, but since the rule change was announced and more drives will be started from the 20 yard line has there been a study done on the teams with the most 80 yard or more scoring drives the last couple of years. I believe this new rule will impact positively players on teams with better qb's and coaching in general who can put together long drives compared with those who are on the other end of the scale. For instance a number 2 or 3 reciever on a team with rivers or rodgers may ultimately be more valuable than a number one with a less experienced or quality QB or offensive line that cannot consistently drive 80 yards. You guys hear what i am saying and what do you think?
  4. Most of you guys have already said it. Randy's contribution to a new team is as a decoy. If a team claims him expecting a lot of production from him, good luck. The dude has been obviously coasting for some time. I asked myself, when was the last time I saw Randy really get popped trying to catch a pass? I can't remember the last time i saw him put himself in any position where he could really get hit, at least that i have seen. Or maybe he is just really smart and knows how to twist his body to avoid the big hit, right? Give me a guy with half the talent but the work ethic ( not at QB ) and you will still usually come out ahead about the same amount of the time. That is why NE has won as much as they have. Taking just above average talent for the most part and working thier tales off. Put your money in the superstar QB and the offensive line and see what happens. I think if the boyz would have put some WR money in the OL they may not be where they are today.
  5. I have stashed Cutler all year for this weekend when Peyton is on bye. Having second thoughts with the inability of cutler to stay upright. Cassel is available as FA and he has played a little better and more consistently in recent weeks. i am still leaning toward Cutlet but as the week wears on i am talking myself out of it. What do you all think? thanks
  6. it sounds like if you are a smart coach with an above average team, why would you ever punt on 4th down and less than 2 yards to go from your side of the field? maybe everyone who plays the football video and board games are right going for it on 4th down from anywhere on the field. in 40 years of watching football, i have never seen that move. It is the gamble that is not worth the price if you don't make it. That is what the genius's on the sideline for all those years already figured out.
  7. i traded for flacco a couple of weeks back and this would be one week i would start him over palmer. and right now i have him in. it makes the most sense, but the minute i bench palmer, like i did week 2, he will probably go off again. do i go with flacco and the probability he will at least match whatever palmer can do against pittsburgh with the addtional upside of playing a lousy cleveland team? thanks, men
  8. hey guys, i have palmer now, and can work out a trade for either favre or flacco that will not hurt my team. who do you think will have the better season going forward. also, AD is my starting back, so going with favre as a potential weekly starter puts two vikings in strong scoring spots. saying that i am leaning toward favre because of the pressure taken off of him by having AD in the backfield. plus he is playing smartly, right now at least. flacco is doing great and he has his youthfulness on his side. schedules arent that much different except favre gets home indoors which doesnt help him playoff time when they are on the road. i am also not throwing palmer under the bus as i believe he will continue to do ok, but and this goes for flacco, too, cold wintery weather is coming. just shoot me any thoughts you have on which one you would rather have. thanks
  9. i think if favre had trouble in green bay throwing picks, he will throw more in new york. and that will kill. his interceptions is what knocks him down for me.
  10. i like rudi, but i think the schedule this year is going to hurt his production.playing nfc east and afc south is gonna be a chore to not end up abandoning the run game. jmo

yeah, ditto, and maybe the fact i benched mcnabb for cambell this week. that could be a problem, too.
  12. this morning, i am thinking that for sure mcnabb is sitting. between garcia and cambell, i still BELIEVE garcia is safe and will get me around 12-15 points, which is smoking compared to what mcnabb has done for me the last 2 weeks. and i THINK cambell should do at least as well. which of the two, garcia vs. rams or cambell vs. giants is most likely to have the monster game that can shove my team over the top. i almost feel like it is a flip a coin disicion, disecion, ah heck, choice. garcia is a "for sure" safe choice, cambell pretty safe with better upside. you guys agree
  13. the issue isnt driver or wayne, but henry or bush on your team. you gotta stick with henry, the other owner knows of your man love for the colts and is using it to get henry.
  14. no, i wouldnt do it. i like henry ALOT. barring injury he will, with addai, give you a great one, two punch at running back. wayne is sweet, but driver is favre's guy and his numbers will be outstanding. i say NO
