  1. If Turner is out I'd feel better about Snelling's matchup than Stewart's.
  2. I think you've seen so many questions because he has a tough matchup this week. During regular season there is no question who would get the start, but with one and done you overthink every little thing. Additionally, he's been a little disappointing at times and although he was money last week, some weeks he's just been ok. And yep, I traded up to get him.
  3. So I have MJD and I usually would never think of benching him. I'm probably overthinking this. I plan to start Beanie. I have Snelling, Stewart, Ganther. Are any of those better than running MJD and Beanie?
  4. Thanks! Great call! 23 points tonight while my opponent only got 21 combined from Brees, Meacham, and the Saints D!
  5. In a normal week I wouldn't ask, but it's the playoffs...you know how it is... My roster is in my signature. I entered the week planning to start Larry Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall, with Vernon Davis in the WR/TE slot. After the injury to Fitz, I kept a close watch and now am uncertain. Austin goes tonight. I have Steve Smith (NYG) to replace Fitz if he can't go on Sunday, but I feel Austin offers bigger potential. Do I start Austin tonight and use Fitz if he's available instead of Marshall on Sunday or do I wait and see if Fitz can go and roll with Smith if he can't?
  6. +1 The only other consideration is that Ganther faces OAK and looks to be the #1 guy. Having said that, I'd have a hard time starting an unknown over Jacobs.
  7. He's already said he would give up one of those QBs for a good wide receiver. In our league Austin is the number 6 receiver and Marshall is number 10. He won't get much better than that I don't think. I'm all about Mendenhall too as we head into the cold weather when RBs take over the game. I really don't think this guy will make the playoffs...I've already clinched...but any thoughts on the idea I shouldn't trade because it might come back to haunt me?
  8. What others said. I think Slaton will end up being the main back again as well.
  9. On the surface, yes...but how are you set in receiving (TEs) and what are your roster requirements? Grant gives you another absolute starter/primary. Although if Jones misses significant time, then Forsett may be really solid as well.
  10. I'm not sure what your starting requirements are. If you don't really expect Austin to do much during the playoffs and you think Wells is going to be a strong play over the last few weeks, I'm not sure why you would make the trade. You have a lot of RB depth, but other than DWill do you have any you can really count on? Maybe PT. OTOH, you could sure use some WR depth. I'd still have some trouble with it, because I too am a RB whore.
  11. A guy in our league is looking for a WR. He is willing to deal Schaub, Warner, or Mendenhall. I am wondering on the advisability of a trade. My team is in my signature. I could offer him Steve Smith (NYG), Marshall, or Austin. My first inclination is to ask for Mendenhall. I keep thinking, though, that having a good QB to back up Rodgers would be nice, especially since he takes so many sacks. All of these players are eligible to be kept next year except for Warner. So my questions are: 1) Should I try to make a trade or stand pat? 2) If I should try, which WR do I give up? 3) Do I ask for Mendenhall, Schaub, or Warner? Thanks.
  12. We do a similar thing, except we have a playoff for those that don't make the playoffs with the winning team getting the first pick, etc. People in our league work hard to win all year long. Of course, we have some really good guys that have played together for several years.
  13. Knox, Burleson, and Laurent Robinson are available. They are recommended in the FA forecast and Moving Up features. Would you grab one or more of these guys and, if so, what priority and who would you drop? Roster is in my signature.
  14. First round of playoffs like most of you. Of course I want the best in anyway, but my opponent has ADP going against the Lions. It used to be I could just snap LT in place and call it done, but not so much anymore. Here are my options. I need 2. Chris Johnson vs. CLE Michael Turner vs. NO LT vs. OAK Reggie Bush vs. ATL LJ vs. DEN Dunn vs. CAR Right now I'm pretty sure I'm going with Johnson. The Huddle predictions are good for LT, but I'm not sold. Turner...I don't know. Bush? Risky, but maybe a home run. LJ has picked it up and he gets Denver...should I? Dunn against CAR...I don't think so. Who would you start and why?
